FANTASTIC FOUR Reboot To Start Filming In June!

Filming details have surfaced for Fox's 2015 big-screen reboot of Marvel's First Family, The Fantastic Four, revealing the production's working title and principal photography's surprising start date.

Following yesterday’s commencement of filming for Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past inbetweenquel, production details have surfaced for 20th Century Fox’s other forthcoming Marvel adaptation: The Fantastic Four. As reported by Production Weekly, via Twitter, the Josh Trank-directed reboot based in Marvel’s First Family will commence principal photography, under the working title Henry Street, as soon as June 17th! That’s a bit early for a major film that doesn’t have any cast members attached and doesn’t hit theaters until March, 6, 2015! What do you think?

Of all the Marvel properties owned by other studios, I most wanted the Fantastic Four to be reacquired and added to the MCU. Such a shame.

They obviously have the cast lined up and all, no way could they fill so soon without actors having to clear their schedules, unless they all are completely unknown, which is a strong possibility.


Jessica Biel I think will be wanting Sue Storm, cause she was originally cast Viper, so she's not against a comic book movie. She also auditioned for Selina Kyle

This must be an unique case, at least on comic movies. Almost two years before its release, wow.

One thing is for sure, they will have soooooooo much time to work on post-production and special effects, so this could be something special, if the action scenes are top-notch and really epic

Amber Heard for Sue Storm! (I'm like a broken record ... ha!)

She can really get across the beauty & brains aspect of Sue and will real sincerity. Heard is very talented and not to mention so goddamn sexy.

@gambel No because Amber can actually act, Jessica Alba has no real talent. Sue in the comics as always had the look of a 'trophy' wife, especially in comparison to Reed, I've always imagined her to be in her 20's and not close to Reed's age

We might see a dark horse emerge right under our noses, I mean if you can pull off a gritty FF (I presume that's what they're trying to do with the Chronicle director behind it)...then I'll keep my ears open...Pinch of salt though

I wish this movie wasn't happening at this moment. What is Josh Trank gonna do with Galactus and the Surfer? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Fox should have just loaned them to Marvel Studios, they'll do something worthwhile with them.
