Despite a couple negative opinions here and there, countless Twitter reactions to a recent press screening of Iron Man 3 indicate that Marvel Studios has done it again! While full-fledged reviews are embargoed, the social network has revealed high praise for Shane Black's direction and script, co-written by Drew Pearce, as well as Sir Ben Kingsley's performance as The Mandarin. Read on...

Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man? Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968. “Iron Man 3” is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures & DMG Entertainment. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing & Jon Favreau, Louis D’Esposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Charles Newirth, Stan Lee & Dan Mintz are executive producers. The film hits May 3, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. IDGAF. I'll wait for the REAL fans so I can get a good perception of if it REALLY is good or not (No question about it though).

Can't Wait, Baby!

Oh, and Doherty? LOLZ There's always gotta be the butthurt jackass that hates all the attention a film is getting walking into the theater with a pouty face and arms folded with man tits hanging out on the side, huh?

Okay, 1) WTH is with the ad that pops up out of nowhere and takes up half the damn screen?? 2) I'm glad to see Marvel's sticking with their "fun-adventure" style. That's what works for them. If they try to go Dark Knight-like, I don't think it would work. The dark gritty thing seems to work really well for WB (I mean how good does that Man of Steel trailer look???). And frankly I'm glad there's a difference between the two. One, I like variety. Two, it gives the big two their own identity (which keeps things from getting stale). If WB gives GL another go, I think they need to take that approach with it. Less goofy, more gritty/serious. But Marvel, stay where you are.

I guess the Banner cameo is true!

Avengers was THE BEST MOVIE EVER!!! I'm thinking of writing a review.

Avengers was the best movie I have seen and after seeing it I couldn't stop saying how the worst part about the movie was that it was SOOOOO good that no movie could beat it, ruining my movie experience forever! Let's hope IM3 can beat it!!!!!!!!

@fanboy03191 Technically that rule doesn't apply here since the second movie was the bad one.

"Just like Green Lantern where the reactions were overwhelmingly positive too."

Not really 'just like', since every trailer and bit of news regarding the actual GL movie (and not reactions)looked like shit, while IM3 has only looked damn good.

@MTrevinos TDKR wasn't necessarily bad, but it was sure a disappointment compared to how great the 1st two films were. I'd say it's more Return of the Jedi disappointing than Spider-Man 3.

I doubt it makes Avengers look like a joke, but from these tweets (minus butthurt jackass Niall Doherty), IM3 is gonna be the tits.
