Ahead of next week’s worldwide release, a brand new featurette from Iron Man 3 has been unveiled by IGN, and spotlighting the Extremis virus serum. Featuring new snippets of footage from the acclaimed Marvel threequel, thanks to a heads up via @_NerdyGeek_, check it out below!




Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man? Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968. “Iron Man 3” is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures & DMG Entertainment. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing & Jon Favreau, Louis D’Esposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Charles Newirth, Stan Lee & Dan Mintz are executive producers. The film hits May 3, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Marvel Studios will also release “Thor: The Dark World ” on November 8, 2013; “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” on April 4, 2014; “Guardians of the Galaxy” on August 1, 2014; the sequel to “Marvel's The Avengers” on May 1, 2015; and “Ant-Man” on November 6, 2015!

@tempo interesting, i tend to look at rottentomatoes over imdb though, this film will end up with a solid score, maybe the same as iron man 1, but definately better than iron man 2

Don't get your hopes up. GI Joe had a 100 until like 10 reviews. Now its like 28%

Hopefully Iron Man 3 is above 73%

Also critics are much harsher now than before.

Actually, some of you saw my previous comment about my treatment at the hands of Marvel while on-set of IM3. However, unlike our dickish friend FuturePast, I have let go of what happened and plan to not let a few tool bag Marvel employees ruin the thing I love. I'll be seeing this film opening day.

Just came back from it love it :) great film better than Iron Man 2 in my opinion. I love the kid :) he not that annoying in the film. The Extremis soldiers were awesome as hell.

@Futurepast is a coward. A gutless nobody desperately searching for some way to matter.
If this puny individual is over 18 he is a nobody who grew up thinking hed be someone. Then reality set in. Now hes stuck at Mom's. The only jobs available to him are minimum wage jobs and likely hes failed at those and is a No rehire at even those jobs.

An idea clicked in his head. He would post spoilers here and get some attention and matter. He would piss people off but he would matter enough to have their attention.
I should pity him being what he is and having so little going for him but I don't. He could be making money like some of his peers and be able to look in the mirror and not be disgusted at the sight of a failure but he blew it. He's the reason he lives off the good will of others. Hes the reason hes a nobody who's lowered himself to such petty stupidity.
But this is all he knows. Wasting time on stupidity while others work and do positive things and really matter. They dont have to imitate a GNAT and be a pest to be seen. Theyre seen earning money, buying cars, homes, building a real life.

So each time you see a message on here from the pathetic nobody who hides behing a username "futurepast"-laugh! And laugh well. Because you know hes still stuck in his meaningless life. The life of someone who does not and never will matter.

Don't argue with him. Just laugh at his puny comments. While you have lives, cars, homes or apartments, he doesnt. He just has these moments online were hes just a little GNAT trying to bother bigger beings that matter more than he ever will.

I enjoyed it. My 2nd favourite MCU movie after Avengers. The tone was unusual (and not in a bad way), very comedic but had some pretty serious moments as well.

Well at least the Extremis stuff should be cool, my only question is why not call Savin's character Mallen? I figure if they're going to base the movie off the Extremis storyline they would want to include the villain from that story.
