“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” picks up where “Marvel’s The Avengers” left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C. Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is directed by the team of Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Alan Fine, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The creative production team on the film includes director of photography Trent Opaloch, production designer Peter Wenham, editors Jeffrey Ford, A.C.E. and Mary Jo Markey, A.C.E. and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is set for release on April 4, 2014. In addition to “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on other iconic Marvel characters including “Iron Man 3” on May 3, 2013; “Thor: The Dark World ” on November 8, 2013; “Guardians of the Galaxy” on August 1, 2014; “Marvel's The Avengers” sequel on May 1, 2015; and “Ant-Man” on November 6, 2015!

"Bucky isn't wearing his goggles... Maybe Cap knows who it is at this point?"

That, or the angles don't require them for the stunt guy.

I like to see him fight in casual clothes, I have no idea why. I'm glad to see them cutting down on the CG with all of these set photos. I don't mind CG in super hero films, but the first had almost as much green screen as the Phantom Menace.

Man, Winter Soldier looks great here! They pretty much nailed the look from the comics (with the exception of the mask, of course). And I can't wait to see what that arm looks like when it's all C.G. enhanced, too-- as long as it has the big, red star on the shoulder, I'm happy!

Looks like WS is kicking Caps butt.

Did Chris Evans get fight training? His swing in the first pictures looks way too wide. You would think Cap would be a better fighter. All WS has to do is block it (which it looks like he's doing) and lay a haymaker on a wide open Cap.

@Joemomma29. She would have made a lovely Sharon Carter.

@ParisSun: It's stage fighting. Bigger punches read better on film. Editing and camera placement can hide the fact that they're not even coming close to hurting each other, without robbing the fight of its energy.

You can't judge the quality of a cinematic fight sequence, or the choreography therein, by looking at a bunch of candid still photographs taken from a block away.

@thewonderer Some street thugs take his suit and shield and wont give them back. And these thugs were trained by Seagal so theres nothing Rogers or the Avengers can do about it.

This movie is going to be so awesome. Bring it Marvel. Captain America is da Man.

It will be interesting to see how Marvel steps up there game movie forward. With Gardians coming down the pipeline and Everything else leading up to Avengers 2.

It doesn't even seem real. Like after watching Iron Man one and being teased at a shared superhero cinematic universe.

Hope this movie shows what caps strength can do! look what he did to those punch bags in avengers and holding a motorbike with 3 women on above his head.as far as I'm aware winter soldier has Olympic level skills and a bionic arm,a haymaker from cap like in those set pics should tear his head off minimum!
