Anyhow, X-Men: Days of Future Past is currently filming, and stars Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Patrick Stewart, Michael Fassbender,, Ian McKellen, Nicholas Hoult, Omar Sy, Peter Dinklage, Halle Berry, Adan Canto, Fan Bingbing, Anna Paquin, Evan Peters, Daniel Cudmore, Ellen Page and Booboo Stewart. I could be wrong but I think Misty Knight was introduced in the pages of Iron fist and therefore 20th Century Fox would not have the rights to use her. That aside, that actress should have played Storm instead of Halle Berry.

She's nude because it was a more plausible way of explaining how she manages to change her looks and clothes (without lengthy exposition), and the scale effect when she shifts is pretty cool.

Nearly every young black woman looked like Misty Knight in the '70s. She's probably Mystique too.

I get why Mystique doesn't wear real clothes - she'd be struck in them when she shifts - but if she can magically appear to be wearing clothes in disguise, why not appear to wear clothes when she's blue? If she's still trying to seduce Erik like in First Class she's barking up the wrong tree. Magneto is as queer as a $3 bill in these movies.

The body suit is to save time on applying the make up, Rebecca Romijn had to sit for 10 hrs for the makeup process, Lawrence underwent through the same thing for First Class, this is just a more time saving method, I just like that you can't tell it's a body suit, but we are being deprived of seeing Jeniffer Lawrence's blue booty.

Xavier even comments on how weird it is that she's nude.

Magneto specifically states that she shouldn't be ashamed of showing her blue body at all times.

She looks as awkward here, as she did in the first one. Wrong person for the role. JRS had the perfect body and attitude for the direction they took Mystique. If they were going to give this role to someone new, it should've been Zoe Saldana.

I think the bodysuit is probably for wider shots where you can't tell the difference. Saves time and aggravation. Remember, the paint and latex application takes hours. They probably use the paint for close ups.

Regarding that cosplay chick up there, why would a shape shifter use a rifle to assassinate someone? She could just walk right up to her target.

Anyway, the only real reason why Mystique's always nekkid is because you don't hire Rebecca Romijn to wear clothes in your movie. And I for one have no problem with the trend continuing with Jennifer Lawrence. I wish they'd change the slicked back hair look though. Looks like she got slimes on Nickelodeon.
