Anyone who plays Wolverine in future films must look to be around late 30s-early 40s.
It fits the character,he's really old but ages slower than a regular man.

A 20-ish looking actor would look stupid unless its a scene set back when Logan was only 20 something.
Thankfully Jackman looked older when he first played Logan & with his great physique always looks highly capable of kicking ass.

I wouldn't mind Days of Future Past being a Star Trek style reboot/goodbye to the character for a while. Then in 20 years we can revisit this continuity and Hugh can be Old Man Logan.

3 things:

Never replace Jackman. Hell He's in the same league as Reeve's Superman.

Second, Booboo Stewart? Who's [frick]ing name is that?

Lastly, yes 53

Yes, the GA would love a short guy in spandex!

Grow up, Jackman IS Wolverine

You can get a shitty, uncommitted short hairy guy in a role and then you'll still complain.

I know he's already been Gambit, but Taylor Kitsch would be perfect for Wolverine.

@PunyParker Jackman is not Wolverine with all due respect. He can be replaced.Look at Heath's Joker 4 example all the hate he got & he is the best villain 2 grace the screen. Not saying Heath can't be replaced just sayin it would b tough 2 top his performance.Jackman can be replaced & eventually will be.My beef with the X-Men films was they centered it round him.If they treated the X-Men like they treated the Avengers it would be all good. We're in dire need of a reboot.Starting with the 1st class & even tho I enjoyed 1st class it was more of a Magneto origin than anything.

Hugh Jackman has played him for so long it would be difficult seeing someone else play him

You're never going to get an actor more dedicated to a part. I understand Wolverine fans who want a different kind of Wolverine. I get it. But from a filmmaking perspective, I just think this guy is everything any fan could want for one of their beloved characters.

MARVELPSYCHO79 Yeezus > Magna Carta Holy Grail. Jay-Z needs to retire already. Those beats were so sloppy and this is coming from a huge Jay-Z and Kanye fan.

The only thing different about Ledger's Joker and Jackman's Wolverine is that, Jackman has been wolverine for almost about 15 Years! He is the first and only Wolverine we have ever had in film and it would be really stupid for Fox to replace him right now. If it wasn't for him, the X-Men franchise would've been given back to Marvel already. And over the time not only has he become a better Wolverine, but he's gotten a bigger name for himself.

Outside of CBM, I don't know anyone who would be looking forward to an rebooted X-Men film with a new Wolverine.

Mel Gibson would make a great Wolverine. Wolverine is suppose to look sort of old anyways right?

Wolverine is my favorite hero, and I love him as Wolverine. I don't really care about the height. Besides that, Hugh is completely Wolverine.

I [frick]ing love Jackman's Wolverine, but when he will be replaced, i'm going to be open-minded about it. Just like the Joker.

Even if it's [frick]ing excellent, you gotta learn to let it go. I'll still be grateful of what we got from him.

And hey, this time around, he might be shorter. That oughta shut a couple of you guys up. For a little while.

@MARVELPSYCHO79 It was such a let down! Pharrell did a nice job with Oceans, which is the only track I really like, but Timbaland was just so bad on there. His production on Justin Timberlake's album was so good, but Magna Carta was just not good at all. Jay's rapping was so lazy, as if he was in the studio and just sat on a couch and rapped his way though. I was expecting something great since Rick Rubin helped out since he helped out with the Black Album.
