Perhaps watch it before you write it off.

@YouHappy What?! they use similar footage (which all looks fantastic) to promote their movie, thus the film will be terrible?! I fail to see your logic

basically what YouHappy and Marcel are trying to say is that certain marketing strategies can tell you about the movie. Sometimes they reuse footage because they are still scrambling in post to re-edit the movie to make it flow better. The other article about bringing in Joss to rewrite scenes is also a red flag. (there are often rewrites in many films but last minute ones usually spell danger.)

I knew it. So they re-shot the first scene in Loki's cell - why?? Cos Marvel Studios thought Loki looked too dishevelled and scruffy looking? He's meant to be in a prison!

For me the way they did it first time around (as we saw in the first teaser trailer) was the best bit of footage we've seen so far. It was the one moment which suddenly amplified my anticipation for this movie.

Most big production usually have scripwriters on set. Last minute rewrites are not just common - but essential.

The only interesting thing about the Whedon/T:TDW story was that they managed to get Whedon to help out. He was in London promoting Much Ado when they were still filming and also in the employ of MS.

I don't think its a panic sign as more of convinient coming together (so to speak!)

Reuse of previous footage usually states that some of the effect shots are not yet up to scratch. But even having said that if you compare the CGI on the Dark Elves ship from Trailer 1 to the latest trailer the difference is pretty impressive.

The marketing of this movie is not as great as that of IM3 or MOS, but that doesn't mean the movie is going to be bad.

I think it's better that they don't use new footage. That way is surprises us duh.
