THOR THE DARK WORLD Has Two After-Credits Scenes

THOR THE DARK WORLD Has Two After-Credits Scenes

With vague clues as to what they consist of, early Thor: The Dark World feedback has promised not just one "great" post-credits teaser, but another during the credits. Check it out after the jump!

After the lackluster of a post-credits scene that was attached to Iron Man 3 this summer, Marvel Studios is continuing what they started with The Avengers last year in featuring not one, but two “great” scenes during and after the credits. This is according to early feedback from a screening of Thor: The Dark World: “Saw it today. Can't tell anything before the 24th, but the colors is a clue... Oh, and there's TWO credits scenes. One during, and one after,” one comment read on a Joblo article. As for what the two scenes will involve, we don't have a definite answer. But another user who has seen The Dark World was asked for clues, to which they subtly replied: “Mid - Forshadowing. End - Shreddies.” Hmm. What do you think?

Marvel’s “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all. It opens in theaters November 8, 2013.

Looking forward to this movie very much. Could be the best this year. As long as there's not too much of Darcy and Jane.

@MrCBM56 Maybe he means that Dark in The Dark World references the movie having a grim tone.

AWESOME!!! Now we will get 1 that is a teaser to another movie, and the other one will just be a comedy one I'll bet. Like the avengers was. IM3 was really funny, but sadly didn't help anything. I think teh problem was that when they finished the movie they didn't really know werew the rest of the MCU was heading yet.

The Collector is a definite.
The after credit is most likely Cap.

GOTG connection
Cap connection. I'm not shocked I been saying Thor will connect GOTG, but I still think cap will ave more of a connection to IM3 for some reason

Mid Credit Scene = Appearance of Benecio del Toro as The Collector; a scene that leads to the Guardians of the Galaxy.

End Credit Scene = A scene that leads to Captain America: The Winter Soldier, or maybe a teaser trailer like the Avengers in the First Avenger.

...or vice versa.

At least it'll be better than the Iron Man 3 end credits scene.

Now Marvel's putting in two scenes in the credits to make up for that nonsensical scene.

Jwe75 - 10/17/2013, 11:48 PM
No three? come on Marvel, make the movie shorter so we can have more after credits :O we only care for the future movies not something present and ready.

MrCBM56

I tend to picture the same thing, and here's how it'd go:

A caption onscreen say something like, "During the battle with the marauders".

We start on a shot of the doors to Odin's vault. After a second or two, the doors are shattered as two Einharjar guards are catapulted through.
Then, the shot moves to the floor, the first step descending into the vault. After a second or two, a gold boot appears on the step. The figure begins walking down the aisle, we get our first full look at Thanos. Thanos finds the Tesseract and takes it in one hand. As he holds it, admiring it, a brief reflection appears on the cube. Thanos turns, sees the Infinity Gauntlet. He sets down the Tesseract and walks over to the Gauntlet. Just as he reaches for it, screen goes black...

Have you ever heard the term, "I would damned near shit my pants".

What the two scenes will involve? Well, going by Marvel's current strategy for Phase 2's stinger scenes, the first one will be a scene featuring Thor cooking an egg and the second scene will be Jane showing Thor how to use Facebook.

And then in Cap 2, the first post-credits scene will be Steve Rogers doing his laundry and the second will be him helping an old lady across the street.

:/
