Marvel’s “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. Scene would have worked better if Darcy didn't look like she just came in from the cold when he mistook her for their server.

Who serves food in a coat, scarf, and a wool cap?
Clearly she was a patron or at the very least a server that was about to go get ready from work..

If she were in some sort of simple black outfit it would have worked.

I understand exactly what you're saying. I actually stopped anticipating the MARVEL studios movies to be a certain way after THOR- Ironically, my favorite. I kept picturing these graphic novel type films with serious actors, unforgettable scores and epic scope. Then it hit me; there's a formula, it works for them, and they have no intention on changing the tone or flimsy, generic sets.

Iron Man remains the best example of MARVEL studios balancing grit, humor and tone. Captain America has a great period look and it feels big (that's what she said) but it lacked everywhere else.

So... this clip? Love it. I Love that it's consistent. Darcey and Jane are behaving just as they would in the original THOR film. That's a big plus when switching directors.

Darcy is Gaea in disguise dudes. That's why Thor ended up with Jane in the first movie - Odin wasn't just sending Thor to Earth - he was sending him to his Mom.

Batman not speaking clearly is something blown out of proportion by youtube parodies that are NEVER funny or original. What does Batman say that people don't understand in ANY of the films?
