My assumption is that the armor is there to give Magneto metal surrounding his body to help him fly? Maybe?

Looks pretty cool, but I'm still kind of pissed he doesn't have the helmet from the end of XM:FC.

Because the Roman Centurion look goes with his Caesar haircut. Magneto always has to look FABULOUS.

Yeah, we have to remember guys that Magneto needs metal to do all of these things. That explains why he's flying with the metal aromor he's able to levitate. EDIT: I believe he also possess power to alter kinetic energy right?

Oh yeah...

Purple really doesn't go with his complexion, though. Not til his hair goes white.

Think I liked his costume in First Class a little more. This one still isn't bad though.

And please don't mention "source material" when it comes to Bryan Singer like as if he's the f*ck up of all Marvel films. Marvel Studios themselves have failed with 2-3 films that should've stayed true to source material.

The only good films from Marvel are Iron Man and Cap.

The rest suck major ass. I own two copies of the Avengers on bluray, one limited edition collectors box that lights up, and I'm amazed at how difficult it is for me to sit through that piece of shit movie. I just can't, ITS BORING.

Haven't seen Thor 2 yet but it's RT doesn't inspire much confidence.

Meanwhile, The Wolverine was fantastic, and this looks to be super cool and creative.

Magneto is not invulnerable, but he is smart and body armor is a smart idea!

Does anyone know what the budget for this is? I really liked the tone and levity of the trailer as well as the apparent story but it didn't look like the most expensive movie or anything. I'm hoping Fox can wrangle up $200 million for this thing!

I would love if that he takes pieces of metal during a confrontation and attach it to his body and that's where that particular look in the film for that moment.

I don't get it. Magneto has been wearing armor ever since his comic book appearances and now people decide to bash Singer for actually giving him a costume!? It's simple situations like this that influence directors to make bad decisions based on the "fans"...
