@MARVELPSYCHO79 Kitty sends Wolverine's mind back in time to his younger body, not just a message, so basically Wolverine from the future is sent to the past.

With Wolverine being the one going back in time, it makes me think they may tweak the circumstances of his origin, specifically the adamantium (thereby retconning X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the film that fits in least with the series) - what if, with future Wolverine taking control of his younger body, he goes to Weapon X to get the adamantium bonded to his bones and claws (apparently a young William Stryker will be in the movie), and so the reason Wolverine doesn't remember the adamantium process is because his future self was in control of his body at the time (if that makes sense)...

So Xavier was hiding the truth about Logan's past right from the begining ? He only guide him where to go, but he never told Logan he went for adamantium all by himself just to upgrade himself for the mission he was given ?

In my opinion, it makes sense to send Wolverine back in time in THIS universe, since Kitty (or any of the other X-Men for that matter) wasn't born yet in the 70s, unlike in the original Days of Future Past storyline, where she WAS alive in the time period they sent her to.

A) that wasn't the rumor and B)it's been confirmed for some time now in the film Kitty phases Wolverine's consciousness back through to inhabit his younger self. Wolverine is chosen because the process is excruciating and Wolverine's healing factor makes him the most likely candidate to endure it.

While I'm not sure how much of a part he'll play, you can add Lucas Till's Havoc to the 1973 cast as we know he appears in the film.

@jerryblake that has not sence, dr Brown will be mad with you, i mean, if wolverine is sent to the past he will change the history so nothing will be the same, forget about what you see in x-men, X2, last stand, because nothing of that will happen, at least no like we saw,

and im hopping that Singer know this so he can keep alive cyclops in the future and maybey nightcrawler will be a regular member of the team in this new future

actually it could end up X - Men movies with a pretty nice twist. Kitty is sending old Logan back in time to his younger body, he goes for adamantium, brings the mission to an end.

Younger Logan wakes up not remembering anything, with adamantium attached to his bones and claws. He probably noteven remember who he is, due to the fact Charles didn't predict the time travel consequences.

Younger Charles can remember whole mission (his mind is the strongest mind in the world). He send for Cyclops and Storm during Sabretooth attack (X1). He is not telling anything to Logan. He's keeping it secret. He know that things must go their own way.
