ALmight - I thought that the end of Thor was pretty lack luster and quick, I'm not thrilled about the cliffhanger but I like it better.

@Karlkingnerd.. the teleportation battle was lackluster? His hammer traveling all over the universe trying to find him? It was pretty friggen awesome.

Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 both had rather interesting end credits, wonder what we will see with Captain America 2

SPOILER ALERT
My thoughts on Thor The Dark World

It was a good movie overall. I loved the final battle and all the realms looked great. I almost cried at the funeral scene. Hiddleston's performance can't be described by words and Hemsworth is a great Thor.
But there were some parts that I didn't enjoy that much. To begin with, I think there was too much comedy at serious scenes. Selvig's scenes were stupid and I didn't like the interns' love story, not to mention the subway scene. Eccleston wasn't as good as I expected and I think that we didn't really got to know and understand Malekith. I had a feeling that everything was going so fast.
The mid-credit scene is a little bit weird but there is going to be a raccoon with machine guns in the movie, do you really expect that it's going to be serious? Post-credits was just there to explain why Thor will be on earth at AoU.

In conclusion, I think that TDW wasn't the perfect movie but it definitely was pretty good. I liked it more than the first one. I give 7.5/10 mjolnirs.

I loved the painted illustrations for the end credits for TTDW. It really stood out to me all three times I've seen this movie now. Possibly the best end credits of any movie. Just something about them & the color.

I loved the propaganda posters at the end of The First Avenger. Went to see TDW today, and was blown away by these. Marvel is really bringing their A-game with little touches like this.

These are actually really nice and do keep the audience tune in. Its a nice way of leading up to a mid-credit scene.

MAC, if it bothers you that much don't come here and read. I would say the same about you and the DC trolls… reaching cult status

Well Omega, my past with him would indicate differently, but I will concede people can change. I've locked horns with him on more than one thread but it was all a while ago. Let's just say I've experienced what I would call a little pushback against popular opinion from him. If that's not trolling perhaps I should recheck the definition.
