According to sources of both Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, actor Jason Momoa has entered negotiations with Warner Bros. to join the growing cast of the Zack Snyder-directed Man of Steel follow-up, tentatively titled Batman Vs. Superman. As for whom the 38-year-old Game of Thrones alum will portray, it's currently being kept under wraps. However, the sources suggests it's either the big bad Doomsday, or the Martian Manhunter, yet another charter member of Justice League. Whoever it may be, it seems likely that Jason Momoa has replaced Captain America: The Winter Soldier actor Callan Mulvey on the studios' radar.
In addition to Game of Thrones, Momoa starred in the 2011 Conan the Barbarian, and he reportedly turned down Marvel's "low-ball" offer to play Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy. Anyhow, should his deal close with Warner, Jason Momoa will join Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne. And directed by Zack Snyder, Batman Vs. Superman is scheduled for release on July 17, 2015! What do you think?
