David Ayer Assures Fans That SUICIDE SQUAD's "Surprises Are Intact"

With all of the great images and videos breaking from the Suicide Squad set recently, many fans couldn't help but wonder if they were going to have large parts of the movie spoiled for them. Thankfully, director David Ayer has put those fears to rest. Check out what he had to say!

It's safe to say we've seen a lot of great stuff from the Suicide Squad set in Toronto recently, including some high speed chases, and some fascinating scenes from Margot Robbie's 'Harley Quinn', Jared Leto's 'Joker' and a certain Caped Crusader too. Many fans have (somewhat prematurely) started to wonder whether the whole movie was going to be spoiled for them. Thankfully, the movie's director David Ayer has come out on Twitter to put their fears to rest:

It seems like he's also signalling the end of filming on the streets of Toronto. This would give merit to his claims that fans aren't going to see much else from the movie - and that's probably for the best! Be sure to give the director a follow on Twitter though, you never know what sort of BTS images he could tease fans with over the coming months!

Does this leave you a little more reassured about the leaks, or did you think the criticism was unnecessary? After all, it's likely we've only witnessed filming for three or four scenes at the most.
Suicide Squad hits cinemas August 5, 2016. Are you excited? Leave your thoughts below!

I mean, how cool would it have been to see batman in this movie, not knowing he would be in it.

I'm going on a limb here and saying it... Robin is in this movie, not sure which one it will be. Probably Jason Todd. But yeah.

In your opinion he did. I looking forward to it, and Leto's Joker.

Can we get a new surprise..like when the film is released there will be no ignorant tattoos on faces of any characters?
That would be just swell. Thanks Dave!

So some of the very people who click on every article comicbookmovie.com puts up with photos from
the sets of Suicide Squad and other CBM's,are worried about having the films "spoiled" for them?

Come on,I'm as guilty as the next guy for clicking on these articles when the voice at the back of my
head is screaming "Don't do it" but you can't blame anybody but yourself if you can't exercise some
self discipline and stop rewarding this site for posting "possible spoiler set photos"

Compared to the Russos,David Ayer and Brian Singer,Zack Snyder is a hermit when it comes to set photos
of his 2016 film.

Maybe he deserves some credit for trying to preserve a sense of mystery regarding his film.

Wouldn't surprise me either tbh

I go on sites like this to stay up to date on what's going on in the world of CBMS and TV Shows but it's kind of hard to avoid spoilers when we've got article titles and thumbnails revealing things like Batman chasing Joker & Harley Quinn throughout the streets. This probably isn't really a spoiler because they knew people were gonna take pictures of them shooting Batman's scenes and it will probably have been confirmed before Suicide Sqaud's release that Batfleck was in the film regardless to drum up more hype for it. It's nice to hear from Ayer that all the surprises are still in tact. It's nice to go into movies not thinking I know the entire plot.

Batman on top of the JK car is probably the beginning or the last scene of the movie

I don't think they even know MR B is coming for them. Seems like Harley don't know that. Look at the set pictures.

The GA don't know who the Suicide Squad are.....all they're hearing is ....Will Smith.....Jared Leto (Thirty Seconds to Mars) and Batman is going to be in this movie...

Jared Leto who will have thousands of followers of his band who will flock to see this...

Will Smith fans.....other than these.....we the CB community know who SS are...by seeing all these set pics have got people interested in this....which is a good thing....

So I'm guessing that all the talk of Batman being an urban legend and only being seen in the flesh by a select few in these new DC movies can now be considered bollocks considering he's perched on top of a car being driven through busy city streets.
