Ryan Robbins Set To Play A "Sadistic And Ruthless" Recurring Villain In ARROW Season 4

Former Falling Skies and Continuum alum Ryan Robbins is the latest name to join the cast of Arrow's fourth season. Set to feature as a member of the villainous 'Shadowspire', this sadistic villain looks set to cause Oliver more than a few problems this year!

It looks like Oliver Queen's going to have his hands full this year. Variety have revealed that yet another villain has joined the cast of Arrow. Former Falling Skies star Ryan Robbins has been tapped to play 'Conklin' in a recurring role on the show's fourth season. He is said to be a "sadistic and ruthless member of Shadowspire", and will first appear in the third episode of Season 4.

Shadowspire are a DC Comics criminal organization that looks set be a thorn in Oliver's side during this year's flashback sequences. They are led by Jimmy Akingbola’s 'Baron Reiter' (also known as Nazi villain 'Baron Blitzkrieg' in the comics). Thankfully EP Marc Guggenheim has since clarified that this version of Reiter won't subscribe to any Nazi philosophies. In the past, Shadowspire have been associated with Oliver's archenemy, Deathstroke. Could their inclusion possibly bring about the return of Manu Bennett's popular villain?

Season 3 writing aside, the CW knows how to cast attractive actors.
Maybe I'll be sticking around this season other than for the costume and magic

I'm looking forward to this, should be good fun, hopefully a bit darker than last season that got a bit sucked into Flash and kinda cartoony.

It's one of those frustrating things where, a bit like movie adaptations, you know what stories you want to see adapted and what directions the characters go and it's never what's on screen (not to say that's bad, just frustrating).

Hopefully we'll get onto outsiders war sooner rather than later

Tried giving Arrow a chance but had to stop watching it as I cannot stand the show despite it having the lovely Felicity.



Love THe Flash though and looking forward to LEgends of TOmorrow.

Currently watching Agent Carter, loving it, especially Hayley Atwell.

There seems to be no shortage of cool bad guy's coming up next season. Which is cool. But all I really want is for our hero to grow up and be known as the GREEN Arrow! The whole show will continue to feel like a prequel until he does. Pray they wont do a Smallville on us again.

I mean...I liked it, but compared to the other two seasons? We got this? What was that writer Tom Yates subplot all about? I wished we had Underwood talk to the viewer more, but that might have been intentional (some statement on a President's lack of privacy and personal time?) I liked that we got to see Frank cry like a bitch and fall apart, so I wonder how he'll do without Hillary Clin...I mean, Claire.

McGee, yeah the third season was lackluster compared to the first two seasons, but it still has the best and smartest writing of any TV show right now. I'm just hoping that Seth doesn't become an asshole like everyone else in the 4th season.

To spend any time on either an article of a TV series that you don't watch, then just complain about it, to basically stalking users that you don't like which only begs the question why someone on the internet you don't even know would make you lose sleep so much that you follow them around, shows that those types of people, those types of children have no lives and rather seeking attention because they're not getting any in the real world.
