The Dark Knight Rises Prologue Rated; Official Title for The Batwing Possibly Revealed!

Nolan really isn't doing that well at hiding spoilers for this movie is he? A short exercept from The Dark Knight Rises script has apparentally leaked onto the SHH! forums, and it reveals the name of Nolan's Batwing... Hit the jump for those details and more!

Once again found on the Official The Dark Knight Rises Community, the Batwing is simply titled, 'The Bat' which I suppose is quite a fitting name for it actully. Here's the exercept:

INT GOTHAM-SKYSCRAPER STAIRWELL - Wayne races up the stairs. Fox gamely follows.
(scene 247) actors bale, freeman
EXT GOTHAM-SKYSCRAPPER ROOFTOP - They get the Bat ready for flight.
(scene 248) actors bale, freeman
EXT ROOF TOP-SKYSCRAPER - Batman and Catwoman on the roof. He turns and she's disappeared.
(scene 100) actors bale, hathaway
EXT SKY ABOVE GOTHAM - PLATE: Batman brings the bat towards a landing in Gotham.
(scene 124pt)

Thanks to Bilad Bhatti for finding the news on Nolan Fans! In other news, BoxOfficeMojo have revealed the official rating for The Dark Knight Rises Prologue, and unsuprisingly it is: PG-13, a 12a rating for my fellow Brits! The only information it gives is why it was rated that way (obviously). It says that the prologue contains:

some violence (IMAX Prologue).

Hmm, could that violence possibly be back-breaking...? The great thing is that if it has been rated by the MPAA then it has already been made and edited, so there's a better chance that the actual Prologue will leak online... Whatever it turns out to be, although that leaked description that I posted a few weeks back stands a pretty good chance of being the real deal. What leaked description was that, I hear you ask? Have no fear, just click HERE to read it! What do you think of this? Do you think the exercept is the real deal, or is it just a fan's wishful thinking?

The Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Pence and Morgan Freeman!

no offense moviemaster( saw the article u wrote about the prologue around when u 1st wrote it) I love the prologue description and would kill for it to be true (lol) but I don't think its true otherwise it probably would have been taken down if it were true. Though I think that has the best chance at being true of them all, I don't think it is

The intro that was written sounds really good and it fits really well with banes original Knight fall. Bane watched bats go through a disease as he was trying to fight all sorts of different villians that slowly wore him down, finally when bats was at his lowest bane struck.

Bane watches bats and then bats crashes into the trucks and is basically in lots of pain and worn down then bane strikes. It would be a good way to take the knight fall idea and put it into a quick and simple movie form. atleast there is no Jean Paul, that guys was a lame psycho.

But like most people, I am very skeptical about this, it wasn't asked to be taken down , but i dont know if i have seen just written discriptions taken down before. When ghost protocol comes out, this will be the best part of it, i kind of wish it was at the end of the movie because i dont really wanna see protocol after the clip.

The above seems credible. But the prologue description...let me just write that its far from being a "Nolan" scene.

Strange 1 - i already took a pic of Alon when he was in London. Alon has silvery grey hair only. you can see the pic i took here at Comic Book Movie News. Also the script is TRUE. i have more lines also. one of our friends at Nolan Fans collected the SIDEs when he was at the NY shoot.

If it's fake then this guy should be writing movies. It's exactly how I'd imagine TDKR opening. Start it off exactly where TDK ends and introduce Bane with a hiss and a roar! I notice a lot of people on posts around the interwebs asking if Batman will die and if Bane breaks the bat early in the film then what will the rest of the film be about, I kinda figure that the film's called The Dark Knight RISES so I expect the bulk of the film being about Bruce REALLY becoming the Batman and taking Gotham back. So if he's broken early then the rest of the film will be about him, um, you know, rising.

Script sounds epic. Hopefully we see something like that in the when the movie comes out. Huge Bane would be [frick]ing terrifying. They can easily do that with different camera angles and special effects.

The Bat sounds fine to me. Although Skybanger has hundred times more attitude. ;)

i was at Imax Waterloo a couple of weeks ago and i was asking if they had a 70mm screen. They confirmed it and also that the Prologue would feature in front of MI4.

The guy there said Nolan does all his testing at that IMAX and was there a week before testing the prologue, but unfortunately he wouldnt let any of the imax staff in to the auditorium to see it.
