The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

The Amazing Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field; the film is set to hit Blu-ray and DVD November 9th, 2012.

Those figure look like crap. Doesn't even appear that they are in the same scale.

Seriously, for them to charge 30 more bucks for those, I'll be sticking with the regular 4 disc release.

I just want the copy that only includes: Blu Ray 3D, Blu Ray, DVD, and digital copy. I don't want no figurines :)

I'd prefer these to those figurines.

I wonder if this will go the way of the "Limited Edition" Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer Blu-ray. The one that came with the much cooler Silver Surfer statuette and was clearanced down to $5 at Best Buy about six months after release.

"Do people on this site know that a lizard's genitalia is INSIDE them..."

What, inside me?... how the hell?...I thought it was just this chair that was uncomfortable!. Now I'm worried.

And I would buy this crap for what reason?

Where am I going to display these sub-par figures? The bottom or a junk drawer. It's a somewhat cool looking Spiderman statue, but I still can't get over how odd the Lizard looks. While his design is similar to a Kirby-esque look it does not translate well in real life.

Was the move really deemed worthy of 3-D? Not in my book. 3-D is still overrated. Only a handful of movies are worth it to shell out the equipment and disc costs to upgrade to this. Not worth it, yet.

This is the one A-list CBM that I am least joyous about. Will I buy the Blu-Ray disc set? Yes, but let's hope the sequel to this version is more appealing to the masses.

@SteveRogersSon:

Just tell them to do their best, please.
I'm using these at the moment;

and I'm not happy. I jumped off a roof and pressed the button and f*** all happened. I'm currently housebound with both legs in a cast, a broken collarbone and missing several teeth.
