Frank Grillo Confirmed To Play Crossbones In CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER

As previously speculated, it has now been confirmed that Frank Grillo (The Grey) will play the villainous Crossbones in Marvel Studios' Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Read on for details!

Last week, actor Frank Grillo Tweeted about meeting with Marvel for something Captain America related (you can read those tweets HERE). This led to speculation from fans that the actor would portray Crossbones in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Well, our theories have now been confirmed as Variety have revealed that the actor will indeed play the villain in the highly anticipated Marvel Studios sequel.






Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the film stars Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Frank Grillo and Samuel L. Jackson. The Marvel Studios' sequel hits cinemas April 4th, 2014.

We get a confirmed actor for the role of the bad@$$ Crossbones...



We just may (just may) get an appearance, or even an easter egg, of Sin...


(Seeing as how she plays an important part of the Winter Soldier story arc).

We will get an updated/redesigned Captain America suit for this movie...


(Preferably, this design). ;)

We're gonna have Sharon Carter in this...



And the Falcon as well...



This is just simply shaping up to be one helluva great Captain America film. :)
