Best Villain: Scarcrow (PeterParker420
Funniest: Lego Zombie
Scariest: Frank
Kids: Guy Gardner

Special "Double Take Props" to Deadpool and North Star. Besides looking extremely authentic, it takes major huge ones to sport the spandex!

Villian = Scarecrow by Set2FallFirst
Funniest = Captain Planet by INVALENSNAME

All the costumes were great. Much RESPECT!!!

Best Super Hereo: Ironman (if it was all custom build). If not, Robin
Best Villain: Scarcrow (PeterParker420
Funniest: Lego Zombie
Scariest: Frank
Kids: Guy Gardner

Special "Double Take Props" to Deadpool. What can I say, I'm conflicted.
FistsOfJustice - 11/3/2009, 11:10 AM
My vote is for, sorry everyone, Masterle's Iron Man costume. He said it was homemade and I think it looks like it has the most hard work on it out of any of them.
THEHAWK - 11/3/2009, 11:10 AM
Deadpool is my favorite costume.
ClintEastwood - 11/3/2009, 11:11 AM
Am I allowed to vote? Well, I'm going to anyway!

Robin by Norma Jeane

[What can I say? I'm a sucker for a pretty lady!]
Brent Sprecher - 11/3/2009, 11:12 AM
Guys, listen up:

- You're only voting for the Fan Favorite Award.

- You can only vote for ONE entry.

- The judges will decide who the winners of each category are.

IF YOU LIST MORE THAN ONE PERSON ON YOUR COMMENT OR YOU LIST ONE ENTRY PER CATEGORY YOUR VOTE WILL NOT BE COUNTED.

MultiPurposePoni - 11/3/2009, 11:13 AM
Robin by Norma Jeane
SirPrize - 11/3/2009, 11:15 AM
@multi Is it conflict of interest to vote for Robin aka Norma Jeane??
Set2Fallfirst - 11/3/2009, 11:16 AM
Iron Man by MasterLe

joshw24 - 11/3/2009, 11:18 AM
However, every single one of these is excellent!
joshw24 - 11/3/2009, 11:20 AM
Best: Iron Man
Funniest: Deadpool
Best Kid: Guy Gardner
njfuzzy - 11/3/2009, 11:20 AM
Iron Man by MasterLe
Stubbyswof - 11/3/2009, 11:20 AM
There are SO MANY great entries here. I love the Daredevil, the Northstar, the Rorschach.

But my official vote for the fan favorite award goes to
Masterle's IRON MAN!

DarthMulder - 11/3/2009, 11:31 AM
Breakyaface-Scarecrow (jus cause ur drinkin a killians)

Killian - 11/3/2009, 11:32 AM
Iron Man MasterLe
juggy4711 - 11/3/2009, 11:32 AM
Iron Man has the best costume but somehow I find myself still voting for Robin......
drizzle123 - 11/3/2009, 11:36 AM
deadpool is my pick, although after a few beers robin would probably win out : )
lvlheaded - 11/3/2009, 11:37 AM
Norma Jeanne for me!
bropous - 11/3/2009, 11:41 AM
ok one then............let the kiddies win lol

Wolverine - 4Real :)
teabag - 11/3/2009, 11:45 AM
LEGO ZOMBIE FTW!!!!!!!!
InstigatorGIRL - 11/3/2009, 11:45 AM
So is Robin going to win just because she's the only girl? I mean, no offense to her, she looks very nice in the costume, but it is a store-bought costume that I saw several other girls wearing this year as well. I hope someone with something more unique and original wins. Too many good choices to choose from for me to vote though!
beckala63 - 11/3/2009, 11:48 AM
*****I vote for Wolverine 4Real!****

TheHawk: lol he IS the right height! haha!

ALL the kids look ADORABLE! GUY Gardenr and lil Capt America and Wolverine! what is that squad called again with the kid superheros? lol...

All the others look FABULOUS! You put so much hard work and creativity into your costumes that it was a joy just seeing them (for those of us who didnt join). It was alot of fun. =)
KeepItReal - 11/3/2009, 12:00 PM
Shell kill me if i dont so Norma Jeane as Robin <33
Set2Fallfirst - 11/3/2009, 12:03 PM
Norma Jeane is smokin' as Robin. But I never heard of her before. HMMMMM!
SirPrize - 11/3/2009, 12:05 PM
They are all fantastic.
SirPrize - 11/3/2009, 12:05 PM
I have to agree with Beckala. No offense to Norma but it seems you guys are only voting for her because she has tits, and seems kinda bias to those who put time and hard work on their costume.
InstigatorGIRL - 11/3/2009, 12:06 PM
Peta will coming coming after Captain America for beating up a dog. Ror, should of been smoking a cigar. That cost him on that. LOL. Norma Jeane in fishnets, mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
SirPrize - 11/3/2009, 12:07 PM
@instigator girl Shes my girlfriend so ya know haha but if I cant because of that then Lego Zombie im waiting for multi's verdict on that
Set2Fallfirst - 11/3/2009, 12:14 PM
@Set: As much as I like your girl's costume, it would be a shame for her to win ONLY because she's a female entry. I'm sure you would agree (silently of course LOL)

As far as voting goes, remember that there will be 7 prizes in total: The four already posted plus 3 Honorable Mentions. I'll be waiting till the end to vote for my Fan Fav pick :)

MultiPurposePoni - 11/3/2009, 12:21 PM
lol i have to say then lego zombie is my final answer
Set2Fallfirst - 11/3/2009, 12:28 PM
@Set: You're a good man, Charlie Brown. Hope we get to hang in Cali this week :) I'm getting my uniform all pressed and shiny
MultiPurposePoni - 11/3/2009, 12:29 PM
The Iron man costume is awesome, but Guy Gardner is a fav of mine and I spent a lot of time looking for a similar jacket so I could do that costume! Good work Ty
batfan39 - 11/3/2009, 12:33 PM
@multi hopefully man itd be pretty cool know if its for one day or more yet?
Set2Fallfirst - 11/3/2009, 12:38 PM
I think this was a great Idea, but I voted for Deadpool. I love the others but i think this is the best one.

No one voted for me, no love. LOL!
Spock - 11/3/2009, 12:44 PM
@Set: No word yet pal, such if the charm of my job :)

@Spock: I didn't vote yet :)

BTW, I'm hearing alot of confusion as the the Deadpool costume. I've heard that the person who entered it isn't the one who owns it. I've also heard that the costume has been used as part of a YouTube fan series for a few years now.

If either are true, it would disqualify his from the contest

MultiPurposePoni - 11/3/2009, 12:50 PM
I've gotta go with Teabag's quote "let the kiddies win"
Guy Gardner by Ty!
Benjamin - 11/3/2009, 12:56 PM
multi- how come I only have one picture up? and that is not even my best picture, other people have more than one up. One picture with my name and can you please put up another one of you're choice so people can see the costume better in another shot.

also great job everyone! good luck to all!
peterparker420 - 11/3/2009, 1:03 PM
@multi No gregrocks was deadpool for halloween and hasnt been him before and his deadpool costume is pretty fing awesome

as for the youtube thing thats another who just posted his pics I guess he was confused or was showing of his name is like Michael something and he posted pics from his youtube series theyre two different ppl
Set2Fallfirst - 11/3/2009, 1:04 PM
Multi I compared the photos of Deadpool and the last 2 do not match the first...
The first photo look at the black on the mask it goes down farther on the mask then it does in the second two.
Also the straps don't match.
And, the silver ring has lines through the center in the first pic. The other 2 do not.
Probably just a mix up in pics, but they are not the same.
I had pics but Photobucket is [frick]ing up right now...
InstigatorGIRL - 11/3/2009, 1:05 PM
Also the wrist bands are different in length.
InstigatorGIRL - 11/3/2009, 1:09 PM
@ multi this is from that Micahel Gaulsick "Since others are posting non entry costumes I figured I would too:

These are all costumes from my fan series:

DEADPOOL- (there are more of these then any other because he's the main character in the series)"

Gregrocks is a different person with a different costume it actually looks a bit different the problem is u took some of GAULSICK pics and put them with GREGROCKS pics thats what everyones tlkin about
Set2Fallfirst - 11/3/2009, 1:10 PM
The first Deadpool is different from the bottom two. The bottom two match. Costume design is different in the chest area.
SirPrize - 11/3/2009, 1:12 PM
I thought we couldn't put our kids in the contest. Dammit. My daughter has the frickin' cutest Greatest American Hero outfit that my wife made. Norma Jean does have nice boobs, but her costume looks store bought so I didn't feel justified to vote for her. Anyone can go out and buy a costume, but it takes talent to make one. I like Little Guy Gardner!

http://www.flickr.com/photos/37850849@N02/4073121998/

If anyone knows how to post pics, that's the link. My daughter is cute as heck. She won the 8 years and under costume contest at the Emerald City Comic Con this year.
Tobuttica - 11/3/2009, 1:14 PM
Here ya go Tobuttica...

SirPrize - 11/3/2009, 1:18 PM
@Multi- Sorry, bit confused: with the poll in place, are they still being judged by category?
invalensname - 11/3/2009, 1:20 PM
Hey Multi, why are you not in the running for this?
Axl - 11/3/2009, 1:26 PM
Sorry all! I noticed the mishap and I just fixed it! Good looking out!(Browsing over 60 pics gets a bit confusing LOL)

@peter: I left you a comment on the other article asking you to email me your pictures. Somehow they shrunk down to thumbnail size. They were too small to use for this articles. Get check it out.

@invalensname: The Judges are deciding the category winners. CBM members are voting for Fan Favorite

@Axl: I'm a judge so I can't enter any of the categories. Besides, I'm having too much fun putting the prizes together!

MultiPurposePoni - 11/3/2009, 1:29 PM
Ah, I see. Cheers!
invalensname - 11/3/2009, 1:33 PM
Wow!!!! I sure missed a lot.... Cool contest!!!!
TheCritic17 - 11/3/2009, 1:42 PM
Lol @Ror - He fits the bill perfectly for comedian!! :P
I got to give him props for that. But, I gotta go with MasterLe! That design was crizazy..
Minotauro - 11/3/2009, 1:43 PM
My pic is Ironman by MasterLe.

My other faves are Northstar, Deadpool, Joker & Daredevil.

Norma Jeane looks cute in the Robin outfit, but I think people that built their costumes from scratch deserve to win.
Runefyst - 11/3/2009, 1:44 PM
Well, not from scratch, but you know what I mean, lol
Runefyst - 11/3/2009, 1:44 PM
multi-sorry about that I posted two more pics on the other article for you.(I didn't post them here because i didnt want to ruin the article for you.) please use them if you can! thanks again!
peterparker420 - 11/3/2009, 1:47 PM
I see animaniacs!
Set2Fallfirst - 11/3/2009, 1:49 PM
Wait...i just realized thats the kids prize hehe....he
Set2Fallfirst - 11/3/2009, 1:52 PM
@Set: I'll mail you a copy of Animaniacs if it makes you feel better ;)

@pete: Got 'em, stand by for the update (Post more, I'll keep adding them here)
MultiPurposePoni - 11/3/2009, 1:55 PM
I'm taking it that it's the poll that counts and not the comments so here's who I would choose if it was up to me! I have voted up the top for my favourite.

Superhero - The Comedien (Would have been Ironman if I hadn't noticed his costume in another contest)

Supervillian - Scarecrow by peterparker420

Funniest - Lego Zombie

Scariest - I will not vote for this one! ;)

Kids - Guy Gardener

I just have to say all of these are fan-bloody-tastic!
Well done all those that made theirs themselves!!

TheAnswer - 11/3/2009, 1:55 PM
@Pete- that middle picture is awesome!
invalensname - 11/3/2009, 2:02 PM
Wierd all the comments on my page are running backwards now! Hmmm I think I may have slid into the mirror universe! ;)
TheAnswer - 11/3/2009, 2:08 PM
I think all the costumes were great and deserve to win ... And that answer is too politically correct... I loved the LEGO Zombie it was pretty funny... As for Super hero i voted ROBIN because she was hot... ;-)

I also loved Cap attacking his dog.... AWESOME

thegreek - 11/3/2009, 2:12 PM
Hey guys, head over to "Fan Fic" and check out my INHUMANS fan cast!!! :)
joshw24 - 11/3/2009, 2:21 PM
lego zombie is pretty awesome....
Set2Fallfirst - 11/3/2009, 2:30 PM
Poni. i have this strange feeling that noone is considering my costume a superhero costume. Kinda bummed about that. And also the fact that I don't have boobs! You guys!
icongfx - 11/3/2009, 2:34 PM
Tobuttica@ that Costume is super cute on your kid :)
teabag - 11/3/2009, 2:35 PM
@icongfx: You're super in my eyes. . . does that count? Besides, you've got 10 votes so far, that's a good start!
MultiPurposePoni - 11/3/2009, 2:38 PM
@icongfx and PLUS your eyes are like forever....
Set2Fallfirst - 11/3/2009, 2:42 PM

peterparker420 - 11/3/2009, 2:51 PM
Funny! Thanks!
icongfx - 11/3/2009, 2:52 PM
@peter: Haha good eyes! The prizes are a combination of TV series, movies, comics, posters, pins, key chains, etc. I might even go as far as to say it's a plethora of goodies :)

BTW, send me the Batman tombstone pic, it's my personal fav

@icongfx: Seriously. . we totally want to make out with you
MultiPurposePoni - 11/3/2009, 2:54 PM
Come One, Come All, I have found the winner..... Although I have no idea who she is or where she came from I can only say that I found the pic online by accident and even though she did not enter into the contest I give her TWO THUMBS UP and hell maybe even a little more... I mean come on look at that fantastic costume. Ok Enough already I introduce you to Harley Quinn from BATMAN ARKHAM ASYLUM......
WHATTHEFA - 11/3/2009, 2:57 PM

Ummm. . . obsess much?
MultiPurposePoni - 11/3/2009, 3:05 PM
Thanks for putting that up SirPrize and thanks Teabag. She absolutely loves it. She'd wear it all the time if she could, although, she doesn't really like watching the show. I make her sit throught it though. She's more of a Batman and Superman TAS girl. This year, my wife and I are making her a Pink Lantern costume. Just throwing our own spin in the whole War of Light thing. We're going to go to the convention family style. My wife is going to be a GL, my daughter a Pink one, and I'm gonna go zombiefied as Black Lantern Superman!
Tobuttica - 11/3/2009, 3:06 PM
invalensname- thanks man!

multi- It just so happen's that a plethora of
goodies is just what the doctor ordered!

peterparker420 - 11/3/2009, 3:06 PM

Set2Fallfirst - 11/3/2009, 3:08 PM
@icongfx - you're gonna be so happy you have all that padding on after we get a hold of you. =P
SirPrize - 11/3/2009, 3:24 PM
MULTI: Wow, thats one hell of a great bunch of prizes!!! (makes me wish I had entered just for that Season 4 Supernatural box set, lol!) If you dont mind me asking, where have they all come from?
joshw24 - 11/3/2009, 3:44 PM
Damn - those caldrons are bubbling over with goodies!

Guessing that orange one is the kid friendly version, lol.

Glad I’m not a judge, it's a tough call for all categories!

kaos - 11/3/2009, 3:44 PM
@josh: As stated on the Contest page, the prizes are an amalgam of contributions by CBM.com and various comic book stores in the Washington D.C. area. Let me tell you, it's ALOT of stuff to sort through :) I might just same some for the next contest. . . stay tuned
MultiPurposePoni - 11/3/2009, 4:41 PM
hey guys I'm sorry to be off-topic here but can someone tell Access to sort out his articles? Because everytime I click on one my computer crashes and it takes ages to get it working again, I think it's that advert he has in his articles, it's really annoying and theres really no point in me trying to comment if he just advertises viruses on the site y'know? Sorry to rant, it's just bugging the life out of me. :)
Ryden - 11/3/2009, 4:42 PM
Harley Quinn wins, hands down . . . . her bra
lvlheaded - 11/3/2009, 4:44 PM
Its not about what you wear its about how you wear it whether its hand made or not. for example SET2Falls latex mask that was a lot of work with make up and blending and glue and 1hr of working on just his face to make it look like an actual face. O Peterparkers scarecrow he made it himself and it looks pretty awesome but if he just put a sack over his head and walked around with a pitch fork whether he made it or not it would be lame. But he put in an awesome costume with everything attached to it looking authentic. Whether its store bought or not its all in how you wear it thats all im saying. Its just bugging ppl keep saying the ppl who bought there costumes wear lazier than the ppl who made theirs not the case in certain circumstances. Daredevil bought his costume and put it on it looks like and I bought mine and we WEAR THEM WELL so deal.
Norma Jeane - 11/3/2009, 4:51 PM
I'm jelous of whoever wins the Big Bang Theory prize bucket! Best comedy!!!
bhfireman - 11/3/2009, 5:09 PM
Also on behalf of Ty we would like to thank everyone who voted for Guy Gardner!
bhfireman - 11/3/2009, 5:10 PM
@Norma: Actually, Benjamin's Daredevil costume is a combination of handmade items and custom ordered ones. None of it is 'off the rack'.

What some people are bothered by is that they feel you are winning ONLY because you are a woman. The store bought costume you're wearing only amplifies that argument. As a matter of fact, only yours and one other entry are completely store bought costumes. You just need to look at both sides of the situation.

I only speak for myself, but If I had to choose between someone who wore an off the rack costume that looked fantastic, and someone who's handmade one doesn't look as good I'd still vote for the handmade one.

Either way, you're still ahead of the poll and that's what matters. If you win I hope you enjoy the prize! I've been saving it for a long time :)

MultiPurposePoni - 11/3/2009, 5:13 PM
Ryden - You are not the only that has noticed 'access' fansites are quite buggy. I just don't go to them anymore.

Norma Jeane - Multi does have a point. Everyone looks great and did a great job. But there are a few that have put some sweat and time into their costumes. I voted for Iron Man. There are others that did a great job.
SirPrize - 11/3/2009, 5:16 PM
I'm confused. What are the rules of this contest? Are you supposed to have made your costume from scratch?? I'm not sure if that is what you were supposed to do, but if that's the case, then Robin shouldn't win. I have a friend who had the exact same costume for Halloween. Again, not sure if those are the rules or not.
PlaidRocker - 11/3/2009, 5:18 PM
Touche BUT you gotta admit that she is the only chick so kudos...a lil bit. But that costume is the gift that keeps on giving hehehe...be back later

ANYWAYS..... hows everyone doing?

@sirprize access he news actually bugs me a bit i kinda think he just makes up his stories....no offense just a theory and im tired of my computer gliching everytime i go to read an article of his so i dont go either
Set2Fallfirst - 11/3/2009, 5:25 PM
yes i have 1 vote & no it wasn't me honestly.
Spock - 11/3/2009, 5:40 PM
Norma Jeane- thanks for mentioning me in you're example
I reallly put everything in that costume,
and if you win fan favorite thats fine,
I won't have any hard feelings,
(what matters to me is what the judges think!)
I think you're costume is great.
I still think hand made is the wasy to go
but you're alright in my book! ;)
peterparker420 - 11/3/2009, 5:45 PM
Scarecrow by Peter Parker is the best!

Please don't send him a prize like the Supernatural box set. His costume is too good for that.
TNTjesus - 11/3/2009, 6:14 PM
@peterparker yours is good bro i likey, never found out if you liked mine though?
Set2Fallfirst - 11/3/2009, 6:34 PM
I say homemade costumes are better in general but as always sometimes homemade ones are shit and bought ones can be amazing! I like it when people put real effort in cos it took 3 solid days and nights to make mine all from scratch and people seem to appreciate the effort more than something bought!
TheAnswer - 11/3/2009, 6:49 PM
@theanswer Thats hella true, Yours was sick ahha [jazz hands] but for the record I sat for an hr of make up and glue and stretching and cutting to make my mask look a bit realistic.
Set2Fallfirst - 11/3/2009, 6:52 PM
Set2Fallfirst- what! of course I likes you'rs! that
that mask is wickedly cool!

TNTjesus- WOW! thanks man, I really appreciate that!

peterparker420 - 11/3/2009, 7:05 PM
@Set: I don't think anyone is disputing the hard work that went into your outstanding costume. The questionable comments were aimed towards Norma Jeane's Robin. Hope that clears the air
MultiPurposePoni - 11/3/2009, 7:11 PM
Scarecrow by peterparker420 is awesome
SgtPeppersComics - 11/3/2009, 7:18 PM

InstigatorGIRL - 11/3/2009, 7:31 PM
@Igirl: Then my job here is officially a success ;)
MultiPurposePoni - 11/3/2009, 7:35 PM
Damn I wish I had entered... lol. Next year I am already thinking about who I should be. lol. ^_^
InstigatorGIRL - 11/3/2009, 7:52 PM
****Okay, TRUTHFULLY, Iron Man was the best...but I voted for Norma Jean as Robin because...DAMN!! And I have NO SHAME about it either! Thank you Norma Jeane...today was a good day!!
TheDurkinKnight - 11/3/2009, 7:57 PM
Just so you guys know how much time and effort I put into the GI Joe Duke costume, I documented the creation of it over at Instructables.com. There you can see every step of the process and hopefully you might be convinced to vote for me! From stencil and pattern making, hand painted logos, sewing, fastening, masking, to spray-paint, I ran the gamut. Impressed? Well I am. So there.
icongfx - 11/3/2009, 8:34 PM
boobs are winning apparently. there is some good quality but i think the daredevil looks the most like a real superhero. the scarecrow is good too. very dramatic.
theartofoneness - 11/3/2009, 9:25 PM
With those prizes it makes me feel like i should have entered as the Ultimate Warrior.... Now he was a live Comic
thegreek - 11/3/2009, 9:40 PM
storm shadow is dead on. why only 2 votes?
grif - 11/3/2009, 9:41 PM
@multi Gotcha sounds good, im glad you enjoy my costume :] thanks for the support

@durkenknight- im glad you enjoy the pic its fantastic to have the real thing
Set2Fallfirst - 11/3/2009, 10:58 PM
Weird, a female is winning on a mostly male dominated website. CRAZY!
YorickBrown355 - 11/3/2009, 11:40 PM
Well it's obvious that I didn't make the denim jacket and red t-shirt I’m wearing so there store bought.

I feel pll think it’s not really a costume per-say I think I get some points in originality at least, though I came onto this thing to be part of the comp and for fun too - next year I’ll just have to up my game.

Though I did spend about two hours applying several layers of make-up to my face, there's actually quite a bit of detail it just didn't come out on camera that well.

But I know there are others who spent days, or even weeks putting together the various elements of their costumes, so really I feel those pll are who should be getting the vote.
kaos - 11/4/2009, 12:50 AM
Voting system failed...boobs won overall...poor kids ;(
teabag - 11/4/2009, 2:02 AM

Ha I don't have any votes. I'm not surprised it only took an hour to make. I only entered for the fun and it has been. I haven't wore a costume since I was in high school and now I can't wait to get started on my next one. I will bring it next year. I didn't get the pic of the family up in time for the contest so here you go.

Stubbyswof - 11/4/2009, 7:57 AM
@Stubbyswof: That's what I'm talking about!

Superhero families unite!
MultiPurposePoni - 11/4/2009, 8:03 AM
Thanks Multi I had to convince my daughter that Ms. Marvel was better than Princess Dora. Once she seen me making it she was sold. Now she wears it when the boys play in theirs.
Stubbyswof - 11/4/2009, 8:25 AM
That is kick ass!!! Mini Ms. Marvel ROCKS :))
Shaman - 11/4/2009, 8:56 AM

NataliaRomanov - 11/4/2009, 12:34 PM
