If you live in the Santa Fe, New Mexico area you might have a chance to snag a role in Marvel's upcoming Asgardian feature film.

Filming for Thor began this year at Raleigh Manhattan Beach Studios in California. Between March and April 2010 the production will move to Santa Fe, NM. What does that mean for New Mexico natives? Casting for principal actors and extras is now underway! There will be an open casting call held for Santa Fe, NM extras on February 19th and 20th, 2010. The studio is looking for 200 people to cast for these roles. Here are the details:

Ages 18 and over may attend. You are welcome to bring non-returnable photos of kids interested in being extras in the film. Please bring a pen. Photos will be taken at no charge.
