The cast and crew of DC's latest superhero film are moving indoors for their next shoot. Thanks to OnLocationLacations we now know that you can find them at New Orleans newest independent film studio Second Line Stages.

The studio is located at 800 Richard Street, New Orleans, LA 70130. There's no word yet which (if not all) of the sound stages will be used exclusively for Green Lantern, but we do know the production will be there for most of the day on Monday, March 22nd.

Here's a look at the newly constructed facility, which spreads out over 37,000 square feet, courtesy of Second Line's website:

Thanks to a Ava Axen, we get a brief look at the film's star Ryan Reynolds in between takes. She also included this blurb with her photo:

"I was in New Orleans at Lucy’s Retired Surfer Bar on Tchoupitoulas and Girod, a couple of men were in there. One came over to ask us what to do on Saint Paddy’s Day and he had on a badge for The Green Lantern, he was an executive something another. I didn’t want to stare at his badge. LOL. They closed the bar down early because it was the bar manager’s birthday. So at about 1 AM we stumbled out of the bar and headed back down towards our hotel on Tchoupitoulas Street and we looked over to the right and there was the movie set. We stood outside with about five other people and in between re-setting the set for the action scene Ryan would come out and sign autographs and take pictures. It was definitely a great moment. He was super nice and laughed at a man who only had a 50.00 bill for him to sign. He laughed at that guy. We watched filming for about ten minutes before heading home because there was a light rain at the time."

As we reported the other day, the reason behind Ryan/Hal's badly beaten face can be attributed to an altercation between Hal Jordan and a group of bar patrons. Hal was out to dinner with Carol Ferris (Blake Lively) when he goes outside and is assaulted by several men. The skirmish activates his ring which knocks one of the assailants into a parked car with a giant fist construct.

UPDATE: A few new pictures of the Green Lantern set have emerged. One gives us another look at Ryan Reynolds in post-brawl make up, while the other shows an ambulance and stretcher that an OnLocationVacations member said were being used for the scene.

The cast and crew are reportedly returning to Second Line Stages for more indoor filming on Tuesday, March 23rd.
