DC Comics fans will be happy to hear that Warner Bros was serious in their promise to continue bringing new superhero properties to the big screen.
Heat Vision has just reported that Hollywood screenwriters Greg Berlanti, Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim, who all had a hand in developing the the first
Green Lantern screenplay, have been officially contracted to create scripts for
The Flash and a
Green Lantern sequel. The site goes on to say:
"Under the deal, they would then go on to write the screenplay for one of the two projects, though which one has not been determined."
The
Flash script will apparently be based off of the recent run by DC's Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns, and will feature Barry Allen as the first film incarnation of the Scarlett Speedster.
Green Lantern, starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively and Mark Strong, is currently filming in New Orleans, Louisiana.
