The trailer, which was shown twice, was already given the post production 3D treatment; and it was very well done. Asgard was magnificent, better than I could ever have expected it. Thor's banishment scene (where that image of Odin's throne room comes from) was very emotional; Hopkins owns the role of the All-Father.

The trailer opens to Thor in Agent Coulson's custody. During Coulson's interrogation, flashback montage of Thor kicking the crap out every S.H.I.E.L.D. agent in the facility built around the fallen Mjolnir. The rest, you'll have to listen to...

... pay attention to the end, it's when the Destroyer armor (which is empty) takes on Agent Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

@Multi: Yeah thank you for this - it was awesome :) I'm just really impatient with this stuff, that's all - I didn't even stop to think about it being in 3D... I just wish they could release it online simultaniously - most of us (namly myself) have absolutely no way of going to Comic Con. I saved up for 2 years and had to split those funds between a surgery and starting school this year - there's just no way I could ever afford to go!

Iron Man 2 had its debut footage unveiled at Comic Con. But the first trailer didn't stream until December... Gah - I'm so impatient!

The audio sounds awesome, but i just want to know...did the 3D suffice? Was it shitty like Clash of the Titans or amazing like Avatar? Or somewhere in between?

Man, they're playing dirty to show it in
3D! Now no one can film it on a phone and
bootleg it! You have to pay and go to
Comic-con now to see it so they can get more
people going to comic-con and laying down the
bucks! lol

They know what they're doing! Making sure
people go to comic-con and spend the money!
Now poor people and those who are too busy
don't get to see the trailer till waaaay later!

I saw the footage didn't even look 3d. I liked the cosmos and space then seeing Asgard. Also Thor wears his helmet in the trailer in some parts. I repeat he does wear it in a few scenes in the trailer.

these AVENGER movies! Throwing whole characters
and stories out for.....actually I don't know why?
Just cuz they have the power to do it I guess! A lot

Man, I hate 3D! Especially this kind of 3D that is
just tacked onto the end instead of shooting it like
Cameron did AVATARD!

But I can see why they're using it! No copying
or bootlegging with the incredible digital cameras
there are nowadays, even in phones!

No digital theft! I kind of half way don't blame them
but damm I hate 3D!!!! lol

3D has come and gone tons of times
over the years! I can't watch it
it gives me fits after about 8
minutes and then leaves me with a
headache that lasts two days!
Guess I'm just a freak or Mutant!
lol

But that's not why I hate 3D! It
detracts from the story IMO and
is a way to cover-up a terrible
movie story!

Like with Cameron's Avatar.
People didn't realize how redundant
and hackneyed the story was or
some of the terrible dialogue cuz
of all the bells and whistles!
I'm not the only one to say this.
Actual pro critics said the same
thing about Avatar!

I'm educated in scriptwriting and
writing and I know hackneyed when I
see it!

@ DDD. You're into Daredevil? Deredevil would love this audio! HE would totally see the 3D, but as a sonar effect!
Anyway, I agree about 3D. Titans made it look so cheap I thought I had to put coins into a slot somewhere at the cinema!
