I wasn't even born when this was out but I saw it out of curiosity a couple of years ago. It was bad but I guess I'd like it too if I saw it as a kid because kids like everything as long as it has their favourite characters.

Yeah, this is Captain America 2: Death Too Soon.

I watched the first one when I was four or five and LOVED it. While it's flawed to today's standards, the basic idea of it, i still think, was pretty good.

I'll never forget wanting to see Captain America IMMEDIATELY when the movie started, and my mom teaching me that sometimes you have to wait in a story before everything comes into place.

The mountain side crash was sad.

When the guy (Steve Rogers' son) flew out in costume with his motorcycle from the back of the van, and the music went from silence to booming... it was just as exciting as the Star Wars crawl.

But my favorite was when Captain America ran all over the factory rooftops, and he (gasp!) jumped down 20 feet, over a railing to the concrete ground below. I must have rewound that part of the Betamax tape thousands of times just to watch that...

That's what it was like to be a preschooler in the 80s.

I'm on Captain America's level. If not higher.
