Wanted: The worst Comic Book Movie adaption that nobody know's about.

Mark Millar why did you sell out Wanted??.. It has plenty of sexual language and strong graphic violence, so for those fans out there that only like capes and dudley go-right comic books this is something DEFINITELY NOT FOR THEM.

If you have ever read the Wanted Graphic Novel you know that Timur Bekmambetov, Michael Brandt, Derek Haas, Chris Morgan destroyed the whole idea to Wanted. Then Mark Millar whom does seem to care as long he get's a microphone to talk into and his name in the credits. Millar does delivers us a world full of super-villains, and in a world, where people are brainwashed on the street to believe that the hero-villain war never happened. And that superheroes are only restricted to comic books and TV series. And also you can spot a good bunch of tributes that Millar and Jones pay to heroes and villains from DC and Marvel, the Multi-Earth system, and the guard of the Professor's lab which is a homage to Bizarro... It has plenty of sexual language and strong graphic violence, well that is with the exception of the movie.

The Movie I would like to see would be this Story Arc.. Mark Millar please take some please... Why did you sell out??

Origin and pay the movie no attention, Wanted was called a very loose adaption of Mark Millar's graphic novel. They were not lying either what Nolan is doing with Batman is nothing compared to the selling out of Wanted.

The Fraternity is the group of super villains that rule the world of Wanted. They consist of 5 separate families, ruling different parts of the world. The main protagonists in Wanted are members of the North American family.
After the destruction of all the heroes at the hands of all the worlds villains (a plan formed by The Professor) The Fraternity was formed and they quickly cleaned up the destruction caused by the great battle and wiped the minds of everyone on earth making it seem like super heroes never exisisted except in comic books and T.V shows and the heroes that survived (only ones mentioned were the big three of the Wanted universe based off of the DC Comic's Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman) Then going on to form the council of five and rule the world.

Wesley Gibson was a normal guy with a horrible life. He was a self-proclaimed spineless pussy and an insignificant asshole...who let everyone treat him like a doormat. He had a girlfriend who was cheating on him with his best friend and a boring, dead-end job working for a boss he hated and that hated him right back. He never knew that his father was once the best assassin in the world and a member of a group of super villains that secretly ran the planet.

And I don't believe he ever had panic attack's, And there were no curving Bullet's either. Sloan was not in the Book nor half of the character's that you seen in Wanted. He didn't kill his father either. Well anyway's let's continue with what Mark Millar call's "His" Wanted movie, One day, while Wesley was buying his favorite kind of sandwich, {in the movie panic pill's} a woman {Fox} who would change him forever walked up behind him. She told him to cancel his order and when Wesley questioned her she took out a pair of guns and mowed down everyone in the building save him. After that she threw him in her car and explained how the world really worked. She told him that as long as you were a member of the Fraternity, you could pretty much do whatever you wanted without any consequences.

After a little speech that left Wesley crying in the passenger seat, she took him to the lair told him about his father, a little about super heroes and villains, and introduced him to Professor Solomon Seltzer. Professor Solomon was a genius and the head of the American family (one of the five groups of super villains). He had employed Wesley's father, The Killer, as a bodyguard, and was now in charge of passing on what the assassin had left for his son. Wesley had been left millions of dollars, but The Professor explained that to collect, he'd have to let his father's friends teach him how to be a man.

This is them..Not what Timur Bekmambetov, Michael Brandt, Derek Haas, Chris Morgan put on the silver screen.

He didn't understand how he could become a super villain, but before he could agree or disagree a gun was pushed into his hand and he was told to shoot some flies or else he'd be killed. Fearing for his life he fired the gun and, surprising himself, was instinctively able to hit his targets without any effort. As the flies dropped to the ground, Wesley saw that they were missing wings, but the rest of their body was unharmed. It was his first step to becoming "The New Killer". After shooting the flies, Wesley is shocked, but is reassured by the Profesor that the gun is in fact "The Answer to all your problems".

And as we continue, Wesley's life didn't change instantly though. He went back to how he had been before, living with an unfaithful girlfriend and working in a job he couldn't stand. It took him almost 24 hours to realize how much he hated his life. When he did, he called Fox and asked him what to do. She told him to cuss off everyone he worked with and come outside to where she was waiting, so he did. After that he began his training. He started with target practice using corpses to shoot, not to just improve his aim, but to get him used to flying meat and bone.

Then he moved on to working in a slaughterhouse to get him desensitized. Mixed in with this was regular beatings so he wouldn't be afraid of getting hurt. From there he moved on to murder. His First kill was the man who had beaten him for weeks, the man punched Wesley so hard that he fell of the chair he was tied on to and used a piece of broken wood from the chair to stab the man through the head.

Then wesley then moved on to random strangers including killing an innocent woman in the bathtub with a toaster, then people who had annoyed him in the past, followed by celebrities just for fun. He also murdered the man his girlfriend was sleeping with who was coincidentally his best friend, and in the movie he knocked him down. He then proceeded to leave her a warning her not to piss him off if she wanted to live. Once all this had been done, Wesley was inducted into the Fraternity and once he got his father's old costume, he took the mantle of The Killer. Timur Bekmambetov, Michael Brandt, Derek Haas, Chris Morgan why couldn't y'all give him the Costume?? You didn't include nothing from the book's atleast you could of used the costume at the end of the movie, you know something the Fan's recognized from the books.

Something like this..

Let's continue on Mr. Rictus, a Fraternity member, and member of the Council of Five, wanted a more dominant role in their rule over the planet. He had Shithead kill Professor Seltzer and then ordered the death of The Killer and Fox. The Killer and Fox are ambused at Wesleys apartment by members of the Fraternity who now under the orders of Mr. Rictus. Wesly finds himself surrounded by many thugs with guns and the villain Shithead. Before they can shoot Wesley, He turns his attention to Shithead who is not afraid saying that bullets cannot be used to kill him anyway. Wesly simply grins and kills Shithead using nothing but cleansing fluid commenly used to clean toilet bowls.

After this, he and fox suit up to get ready to kill the other members of the Fraternity who are after them.

Fox and The Killer Gun Up

The next day Fox and Wesley go around the city killing as many supervillains as they can find. Even the super powered villains are found to be helpless as Wesley simply guns them down with single shots to the head. They find themselves overpowered by the villain who had previously stolen [frick]wits powers thus making him invulnarable to bullets. However Wesley is calm to explaining that the time limit to keep those powers has expired causing him to loose his ability of flight and to die as he hits the ground. Wesley and Fox then head to The Professors Base in an attempt to reach Mr. Rictus. They slaughter many super villains on their way in until they find themselevs ambused and surrounded by an army of super villains and Mr. Rictus just as they enter the main room. Wesley panics but Fox assures him that the real killer can take them out on his own. The super Villains begin to take fire and Wesley quickly avoids the attack and flips around shooting all them and killing all of them instantly. The only one left standing alive is Mr. Rictus who is amazed at Wesleys performance but predicts that Wesly is now out of bullets. Overconfident, Mr.Rictus fires at Wesley but Wesley is able to reflect the bullet back using simply his knife.

The bullet deflects and hits a surprised Mr. Rictus in the neck. As Wesley stands over him triumphant, he asks him who killed his father to which Mr.Rictus simply replies Lee Harvey Oswald. Wesley then slits his throat killing him. As seen here, no hitting bullets back with bullet's he used a knife to deflect the Bullets. You hear that no Curving Billets the movie adaption had em. Afterwards, Wesley found his father alive, smoking a cigarette in the corner secretly observing the battle the whole time. His dad tells his son that his mother was orginally a super villain just like him but when Wesley was born his mother decided that she never wanted him to be like his father so she encouraged him to never fight and avoid all conflict. His father tells him that all his life he has been secretly keeping track of Wesley and feels guilty that he didn't stop his mother from turning him into a sissy by constantly making him avoid conflict his whole life. As such he wanted Wesley to be a man, so he faked his death to make him join the Fraternity. Fearing his old age and decline of his powers he asked Wesley to kill him, explaining that he know's that one day he will no longer be able to defend himself and that his enemies will actually manage in killing him. Something he cannot accept. He can only accept death at the hands of his own son as he knows that he will carry the mantle of The Killer wisely. Wesley thinking his father is joking and when he realizes he's not he pleads with his father not to make him do this. Wesley's father tells him to be a man in which Wesley finally agrees with his last word to his father "I love you dad" before pressing the trigger.

As the tears roll down Wesley cheek. Wesley killes his father and as he tells Fox that he is going back to his dull, boring existence. She is shocked until he reveals he was joking. Wesley and Fox returned to the Fraternity, that is now under their leadership. Wesley completes his fathers final wish..

The Movie wanted skipped over all the villians, and sequel will be no better Millar talking about more assassin's no supervillian's or the one's created for the graphic novel. Mark Millar why did you sell out Wanted?? I understand making changes for the movie, but the entire idea, plot and major character's. You can't be a fan of the novel's and the movie,if you are I call you a traitor. {just kidding}

The Cast

Mark Valley is The Original Killer..The Original Killer is The Professor's Bodyguard.. He is Wesley Gibson's Father

Chris Pine is The Killer..

Though he has no real super powers, The Killer is able (and willing) to kill anyone. He mentions late in the story arc that his power is simply being an expert at "stopping people breathing." He is based on Deadshot and Bullseye.

Your'e probaly asking me why??? He has an Edge to him watch Carriers. And he's good at what he does.. Any complaint's yet?? I say NO!!

Halle Berry is Fox. This is the most Miss-cast ever!! Angelina Jolie doesn't resemble Fox whatsoever!!

Fox is one of the deadliest killers in the world. The only things she cares about are sex, money and violence. She was the original Killer's sex buddy and when he died she moved on to his son, based on Catwoman.

One more shot of Halle

THEHAWK mentioned Zoey Saldana a excellent choice I took the liberty and made one up for him.

I had fun lookin for the pictures..

Zachary Quinto is The Professer..Professor Solomon Seltzer has always been a genius. He started talking while he was still in the womb, was reading and solving math problems before he could walk, graduated magna cum laude with a bio-mechanics degree before his friends reached kindergarten and was a billionare by age ten. Sloan is his movie counterpart and is clearly a rip-off.

He is the brains behind the scheme that made supervillains the ruler of the world (eliminating the heroes). After the superheroes were gone and the world was split into five pieces, he claimed North and South America.

Based on Lex Luthor super-intelligent inventor

John Malkovich is Mister Rictus

Mr. Rictus was once a devout Christian but after an accident that scarred him horribly, he died on the operating table briefly and instead of Heaven, he saw nothing. This concept of nothing filled him with hate, as he had spent much of his life worshipping god and doing the right thing. He had spent years embracing the light, a light which turned out never to be there. What was left was only darkness.

These events basically created a man with no conscience. He rapes, slaughter's and is known to make love to animals. During the second issue of Wanted, Mister Ricuts says "I don't [frick] goats... I make love to them". He gives himself the credit for the plan to permanently stop the heroes. Mr. Rictus tried to take over the world (again) so The Killer killed him.

Based on The Joker and Black Mask, with a touch of the Red Skull, sadistic, amoral, joke-using murderer.

Jason Statham is [frick]wit. [frick]wit is a mentally retarded version of Superman in the Wanted series, based on Bizarro.

Michael Madsen is Shithead

Shithead is a horrible creature whom no one knows how he came to be. Some say he was formed in the sewers, others say he was the result of a mystic spell that back-fired, or perhaps science gone horribly horribly awry.. but regardless of how he was created....he's
100% excrement and he was made from the feces of the 666 evilest people who ever lived. Theres a little Hitler, A Touch of Ed Gein, and a Half pound of Jeffrey Dahmer. And thats a lot of evil shit. Shithead works as Mr. Rictus's main goon, based on Clayface

Shit happens. Just pray he never happens to you.

Mads Mikkelsen is Sucker....

Sucker is a supervillain that can steal the powers of others for exactly 24 hours.

Sucker is an alien parasite that came to Earth thousands of years ago. He lives by bonding himself to a host and feeding off the life force of others to keep it alive. He can take the powers of others for 24 hours but has no powers himself in other words he is a Parasite knock-off. {superman} and Marvel Comics Venom

Ed Norton is The Future..The Future is the nazi bastard that took over Europe when all the superheroes were destroyed. a time-traveling bigot in the vein of Kang, Per Degaton, or The Lord of Time, with a touch of Hate Monger.

Nic Cage is Johnny Two Dicks

Johnny Two Dicks is a henchmen of Mister Rictus in the comic book "Wanted", he has no super-powers other than having two penises, one of which talks to him. Much like others in Wanted, he wasn't always a bad guy in fact he was a respected young pharmacist who delved off into a life of crime.

Here you see the Professor discussing Johnny with The Killer

And as Adam One Dennis Haysbert..The very first human, who is an immortal, and the sole ruler of Africa, a primeval immortal that's a pastiche of Vandal Savage and others, such as the Ultraverse's Rex Mundi. He run's the Unit he can run Africa!

Wanted was not a mess of a movie it was a very good one and it was a hit. I thought it was [frick]ing awesome. But yeah I never read the comic. Even if I did I wouldn't call it a bad movie, i'd called it a bad comic book adaption.

SHHH: Sorry I havent checked this out sooner - the charger for my laptop broke and until I get a replacement in the next few days, I'm relying on my phone for emails and the local library for a quick visit to CBM! Anyway, this is a great article/cast man! As you know I did my own Wanted cast a litle while ago so I obviously have my own choices for these characters but I still like yours a lot! Great work all round! See you all in a few days! :)

Very cool man

This sounds much cooler than the shit movie they gave us. The cast also looks awesome. McAvoy was probably casted wrong as was the rest of the cast

Hopefully in a few years it'll get remade the way it should be.

Wanted the comic was a cool send up of comics, but I don't think alot of it would work on screen. Most of the comic relied on the reader being familiar with comics to get most of it. That's a familiarity that most movie goers don't have. Wanted the movie was a decent action flick, really had very little in common with the comic, not sure why they didn't just name it something different.

I thought the movie was awesome and I have never read the books but I have heard that it is very mature and I am not a big fan of extremely mature movies especially if I am watching it with my family it is sort of embarassing but I thought the movie was well pulled off and different but Halley Berry is a better choice than Angelina Jolie.
