The film stars Michael Keaton in the title role, as well as Jack Nicholson, Kim Basinger, Robert Wuhl and Jack Palance. The film, in which Batman deals with the rise of a costumed criminal known as "The Joker", is the first installment of Batman film series.

Richard Donner directed the film, which stars Christopher Reeve as Superman, as well as Gene Hackman, Margot Kidder, Marlon Brando, Glenn Ford, Phyllis Thaxter, Jackie Cooper, Marc McClure, Valerie Perrine and Ned Beatty. The film depicts the origin of Superman, from infancy as Kal-El of Krypton and growing up in Smallville. Disguised as reporter Clark Kent, he adopts a mild-mannered attitude in Metropolis and develops a romance with Lois Lane, while battling the villainous Lex Luthor.

Both are equally epic. Great first and second acts for each, but both have third acts way too many flaws. Don't take that as thinking i dont enjoy both of them a lot tho

Both are good.
I like Superman more when it comes to the story, but Batman when it comes to costume design and such.

this is a toughie,i think i'll say superman the movie for sheer epicness.

though tim burton's batman is definetly the best batman film ever.

What a terrible trailer for Batman. Thank goodness Chris Nolan finally gave us some good Batman films. I'll go with Supes on this one.
