Cartoon Network has finally launched their new Green Lantern animated series website. With it they feature a completely new video clip showcasing everything from character designs, to buildings, tone and color. It looks pretty cool and should be very interesting! Now, I just hope it turns out to be more in tone of Star Wars: The Clone Wars than Tom & Jerry! (I loved that show)

What do you guys think?

Great find @Angelus!
My interest in the series just went up.
marvel72 - 6/19/2011, 3:52 PM
it'll be better than the film.

Maybe they should just get Bruce Timm to help in the live action department.

I still enjoyed the GL film. Much more the second time I saw it. Didn't walk out disappointed.
supernaturalfreak - 6/19/2011, 4:10 PM
still dont think Timm's style works in 3d, its definitely cool, and even cooler since his art is all self taught, but it doesnt look good in 3d animation

This looks kind of interesting.

Young Justice is awesome.

Watched it on YouTube.

Can't watch 'GL:TAS' because I don't have a TV set.

Haven't watched TV in a year.

The Internet killed Television!

Avengers rocked, Young Justice is cool. This eh.
blueorangeny - 6/19/2011, 4:25 PM
Yea I don't like this style of cartoon. I prefer if it was like First Flight drawings.
WakeUp - 6/19/2011, 4:32 PM
Looks too much like a Disney pixar incredibles spin off
Dmon - 6/19/2011, 4:35 PM
@reclusemaverick OMG you watch to much Charles Trippy. lol
AraxisHT - 6/19/2011, 4:39 PM
They should have at least made it traditionally instead of CGI, then it would at least have sort of a lost-90's-show feel to it. This just looks terrible.
95 - 6/19/2011, 4:40 PM
@Dmon

LOL. I was afraid someone would say that. I've watched a couple of his videos but that was several months ago. I just like that saying because it couldn't be anymore true in my situation. TV collects dust, computer shines bright. LMFAO.
ComicsCommando - 6/19/2011, 4:41 PM
His style doesn't fit well with this type of animation, not really liking the look of this.
gamecreatorjj - 6/19/2011, 4:47 PM
BUT will this be in the DCAU
dahamma - 6/19/2011, 4:49 PM
at :26 that was more awesome than ANYTHING in the film
McGinnis - 6/19/2011, 4:59 PM
Kirby Krackle's "Ring Capacity" should be the theme song.
mitchybaby - 6/19/2011, 5:09 PM
this will last one season IF THAT
krooklyndodger - 6/19/2011, 5:13 PM
Judging by the animation, their target audience is very young kids. Why can't these animators design the characters to look more life like or as they appear in the comics?
TayDee - 6/19/2011, 5:16 PM
It looks TOO kid oriented. Ehh I will not watch this.
DrRockit13 - 6/19/2011, 5:24 PM
we need more like the avengers show that is quality!
Omark - 6/19/2011, 6:06 PM
probably will be better than that crap movie I saw
Freshkicks1212 - 6/19/2011, 6:11 PM
Not liking the CGI never a fan of it in TV series because its always of a cheap quality. But hey its a new series and a change from the regular shit on CN so I going to give it a watch
greenlanter13 - 6/19/2011, 6:17 PM
I think ppl should wait and watch a couple of episodes before judging because some of you said the same about avengers and look how that turned out. I hope is good I wanna see some episodes before judgeing
SpideyDude - 6/19/2011, 6:27 PM
looks the same as the film
DonBeastly - 6/19/2011, 6:29 PM
when does this come out?
TayDee - 6/19/2011, 6:33 PM
EasterBunnyKiller - Yea that may be true but the animation is what's gonna throw me off. They look like lego's.
TheDetectiveComicRises - 6/19/2011, 6:41 PM
Luv it & luv the movie also!
SunfireUrA55 - 6/19/2011, 6:52 PM
Wow is that Mr. Incredible? I hate this kind of caricature. Why do they have to draw like that idiot from Batman the Animated series? I ALWAYS HATED his drawings. And then to do it with computer animation? LAME!
Ceejay - 6/19/2011, 7:36 PM
Bruce Timms art is pure style, you obviously haven't the artistic eye to appreciate his much awarded and highly acclaimed work!

Idiots should have released this shit two months BEFORE the movie, at least then the kids would have some interest!
Lert - 6/19/2011, 7:38 PM
how much money does the movie need to produce in order to get a sequal? or does WB know their mistakes and will release a 2nd without batting an eye?
m2prod - 6/19/2011, 8:38 PM
Looks horrible.
justsomedude - 6/19/2011, 9:11 PM
I only hope it takes itself seriously along the lines of star wars clone wars and young justice..
THABATMAN - 6/19/2011, 9:14 PM
I hate the design. It would have even sucked in the 90's. They shouldn't have done it like that, but maybe like young justice. I'll still check it out though.
Risky5150 - 6/19/2011, 9:16 PM
dude [frick] cgi it shoulda been regular animation
elcaballerooscuro92 - 6/19/2011, 9:22 PM
looks crappy, when you hear the animated series after a superhero name you think in batman the animated series
SunfireUrA55 - 6/19/2011, 9:30 PM
Ceejay, "Bruce Timms art is pure style, you obviously haven't the artistic eye to appreciate his much awarded and highly acclaimed work!"

Actually I do have an artist eye. I have been studying art for a very long time. I LOVE art! I have a degree in art. Bruce Timm's art is pure trash. The only good thing that came from him was the fluidity of his animation. I don't care if he is considered "highly acclaimed work!" He has a Terrible influence in the art world.
GLprime2814 - 6/20/2011, 12:52 AM
damn you, this better be good or I swear...
jjmeylar - 6/20/2011, 1:43 AM
That's gotta be the worst animated I've ever seen for a show: including "South Park".
Cassidy75 - 6/20/2011, 2:35 AM
If Bruce Timm went crazy
