The website Brick Heroes has given an update on the new "Lego Super Heroes" Marvel Comics based sets that will be out to buy next year. We saw some of them this summer on display at the San Diego Comic Con, but now we know which characters will be included in the sets based on "The Avengers" film, the X-Men comic books and the Spider-Man comics, respectively.
This is how it was reported on the site, translated from French:
"6865 - Captain America's ™ Avenging Cycle (about € 20) - Captain America, Nick Fury (+ a motorcycle)
6866 - Wolverine's ™ Chopper Showdown (about € 40) Wolverine, Deadpool, Magneto (+ a motorcycle)
6867 - Loki's ™ Cosmic Cube Escape (about € 40) Loki, Thor, Captain America
6868 - Hulk's ™ Helicarrier Breakout (about € 80) - Hulk, Black Widow, Iron Man, Captain America
6869 - Quinjet Aerial Battle (about € 100) - Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Iron Man (+ the Quinjet)
6873 - Spiderman's Doc Ock ™ ™ Ambush (about € 55) - Spider-Man, Doctor Octopus"
It is not known what sets 6870 to 6872 are, or which outfit the new Lego Doc Ock will wear. After all, since the Spider-Man sets are based on the comic books, Ock's had quite a few costume changes over the years. However, the web site does mention the first Spidey set is due for release on August 15th, 2012. This set's name has also been confirmed on the Australian website Mr. Toys Toyworld. There are no pictures of the boxes for these sets, but that could change.
