Amanda Waller Guest Starring in Smallville?

A casting call description posted by SpoilerTV.com for a new guest star role for a character on "Smallville" has just come out and it sounds a lot like Amanda Waller from Suicide Squad, read it here:


The casting call description post was this at SpoilerTV.com:

[ANDREA POTTER] 35 - 55 yrs old. A heavyset, imposing and ruthless African American woman. She has sinister plans for the citizens of Metropolis... Do not limit your suggestions to heavyset. This role is established in Episode #912 but is a RECURRING GUEST STAR role.

Hmm, sounds very similar to the DC comic book character Amanda Waller, very familiar indeed, you heard it here first.

it is one more piece of the puzzle. the proof keeps coming in on where ive said before that smallville will spin off to become a JLA series. Adding all of these DC characters into the show is just proving it.

if jla becomes a reality im gonna do backflips. id hurt my back but oh well. :)

Brianj22 I'm kinda keep say a GREEN ARROW spin off myself, but i would probably join you if they did do a JLA, or JUSTICE series!! : D

Damn, i hope that SUICIDE SQUAD movie from WB/DC is still active though!!

oh great my F'ING PC is losing the Internet all the damn time again, damn my broadband lol.

I hear you lee777. I think the only reason they would go with a GA series instead of JLA is cost. That said, if im in the CW boardroom and if its all about ratings than this is a no brainer. I like justin hartley, I think he does a very good job, but its not like your kicking him to the curb with a jla series. hed still be involved.

either way id be happy if hey did JLA or JSA or combine the 2 clubs.

The big question is, what does CW want to do with there shows a whole. ARe they going to be the channel that only teenaged girls watch? or will they start making something that anyone can watch?

CW is the only worry here. Im hoping someone on the board has the balls to do what the fans want, not do what the teenaged girls want.

BRIANJ22 @ Your right man, i think if or should i say when we get a spin off or two, they should be as far away from SMALLVILLE as poss! Maybe then we'll get series WE like!!

I was thinking GA a cross between CSI/NYPD BLUE slash SUPERHERO, but no powers and of course in STAR CITY!

But i thought this last year when we got LOSH etc, im sure WB/CW is thinking spin offs for quite a few of the DC Crew, i wouldn't be surprised if JSA was there too. They've got DC Gold here to make many good DC shows! I'll be happy whatever they decide.

Hey, i know it aint a spin off, but its DC, are you looking forward to HUMAN TARGET??! I am man, cant wait!

This is definitely Amanda Waller. If they have her maybe that means that Catimus is coming. This could open it for the return of the Justice League.

GA is probably going to be the spin-off if they have one. I don't think the CW would be smart enough to shell out for a Justice series

BatmanKnight @ Yeah, i dont think JUSTICE will happen also, not with talk still about all the DC movies (Well the heavy hitters) being connected leading up to a JLA! But fingers crossed, id like JUSTICE as a series a lot!

It'll be cool though if it did but yeah, i think theres more chance of a GA series too.

Hey Hawk. CCH also voice Amanda in the new Superman/Batman Public Enimies animated movie that just came out on DVD last month. Shje would be perfect to do it in real life.

Yep she would, though i think theres one person that is much better, CCH isn't big enough for the role, but yeah she is good for the part still!!

I like Waller she gives Lex a run for his money and I like how her and Batman goes head to head. Who is CCH Pounder?

Currently she plays the mom on a fox tv show called Brothers along with Michael Strahan and Darryl(Chill)Mitchell. She also played a tough police captain on The Sheild.
