Boogie is based on the works of cult comic artist Fontanarrosa and tells the story of callous and merciless hitman Boogie as he sets out to prove that he is still at the top of his profession despite the arrival of a younger rival. Boogie drinks, smokes, swears, evens scratches his nuts. And, mainly, he shoots a lot of people just because, well he can. Check it out.
Argentinian audiences right now are going out and witnessing some massive animated violence and mass bloodshed thanks to the just released animated feature "Boogie El Aceitoso."
Faithful to the aforementioned comic books, which started being publish in South America in about 1974 and ended in 1995, Boogie is a type of anti-hero who lives as a hitman in what appears to be New York City.
Boogie employs a very 2D style of animation, but this movie has rolled out on 3D screens throughout Argentina this week. Just check out what you're missing with the English-friendly trailer below.
