The Silver Banshee who first appeared in comic book form in Action Comics #595 (December, 1987) was created by legendary John Byrne. Banshee is a dark vengeful spirit of a fallen Gaelic heroine, just like in the origins in the DC Comic books.

In Smallville, Silver Banshee is accidentally released out of the underworld, and finds herself taking vengeance at a country bed and breakfast that funny enough Lois (Durance) and Clark (Welling) are happening to be staying at.

Odessa Rae will be first appearing as her alter ego Siobhan McDougalis in Episode 16, titled "Escape."

Smallville returns with "Disciple" featuring the debut of Dark Archer (Steve Bacic) this Friday on CW at 8/7c.

Also TV Guide is reporting Wesley MacInnes will be playing DC villain Icicle in an upcoming episode.

LEEE777 - I smell spin off city by the time this shows done and what can i say, bring it all on, theres a big universe out there and theres got to be a reason why we're getting all these DC cameos like JSA etc right now. What do you think, comments below.

Im feeling a definite Green
Arrow spin off. He is pretty popular right now. The outfit he wears in the show is now in the comic.

Id love for a legion or JSA spin off.

I doubt they will do a JSA series for 2 reasons
1)It would be really expensive.
2)If its not careful it could end up being a live action super friends show.

My suggestions our you choose 2 of the JSA members and make 2 seprate shows. Both of these shows would be prequels and would take place some time in the 70's or 80's.
Most of the JSA members have intersting job's such as Hawkman(archeologist),wildcat(boxer),and Dr.midnite(surgeon). This would allow to have more back story and make the shows compelling to watch.

Also I would really be suprised if smallville doesn't get a spin-off or their isint at least another dc character made into a show, because smallville(and supernatural) our both going to be wraping up in the next couple years and the cw is going to need shows to apeal to the male 18-34 demographic. Also for this reason I would be suprised if smallville went to 11 or 12 seasons.

Well a spin-off would be likely. But why green arrow?! Why not impulse. I would much rather like to see him develop into flash. And see keystone city then GA. We've seen a lot of him allready. And althought justin hartley plays the character well, he doesn't play him with that much dept. But if you look at the development around GA, that would be the most likely candidate for a spin-off.
They could always try another Aquaman spin-off. The guy playing aquaman is just spot on. But chances are you'll get a mix of smallville and The OC. And that the show has to many inviromental hooks (i know, very lame fish joke).
My say: Call the show Metropolis, put in some more cameos, pump a little money into it, and slowly develop the JLA. The Lois and Clark show worked great. Durance and Welling have just as much chemistry as Hatcher and Cane. So why not go in that direction.

Spilox @ Um IMPULSE isn't FLASH dude!!! Not even in the SMALLVILLE-VERSE!! Another AQUAMAN would be cool but i doubt they'll go that way again, if anything they'll do JUSTICE with AQUA in it! Lol fish joke! ; D

I still think GREEN ARROW myself!

BATSON @ A JSA wont cost that much, hell we get HEROES don't we?

Still rather see a big screen JSA though, done with the quality of WATCHMEN!

PP @ Great stuff!! ; )

Hey PP, i did a JLE CASTING dude, its in FAN-FIC pushed right down, you got a mention if ya go and look! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Awesome, Silver Banshee is a cool villian. As far as spin-offs go, I'd love to see Green Arrow get his own series. I think Smallville has basically become that anyways. I would'nt scoff at a JSA series either LEEE.

Hey if they were do a justice society in the style of heroes i think that would be a good show. I still would argue though it would be exspensive for a CW show. It would also depend on how much ceratin characters our in it, because I don't think they will be able to have jay garrick or allan scott for some stupid reason.
I also think that green arrow would make a good show, but i think they should have Mia or Roy have a more vital role in the series, because at this point GArrow has already had his downward spirals and basically just needs the goatee.

Leee77@ here's a theory, maybe there adding all These characters not for a spinoff, but to BOOST RATINGS? To make GOOD STORIES? Why do u Assume every guesst character is a spinoff? It would be cool if they did, but I can't see them doing it, otherwise they wouldve picked up the aquaman pilot a few years back. CW is all about teen angst, can't get that from a JSA show feturing a 40 something hawkman.
