Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Cameron Diaz is considering an offer to play the female lead in The Green Hornet movie opposite Seth Rogen who is the Green Hornet.

She is in very early talks for the role and the magazine says no deal has been sealed as yet.



Michel Gondry is set to direct the movie based on a script by Rogen himself and his writing partner Evan Goldberg.

Columbia Pictures is planning a July 9, 2010 release for Green Hornet!

She was frakkin sex on legs in the mask but then she lost loads of weight. But is still well fit.

is the green horney a comedy? i never thought of it that way. come to think of think of it, the mask was a green guy and that was a comedy. i have great fear for this movie

An even if they do do a Action/Comedy, it'll work, ever heard of STARKEY & HUTCH or DUKES OF HAZZARD! Luv dem movies!

Im not saying i want action/comedy, i hope its played straight, but i have a good feeling about this film!

I hate Cameron Diaz I hope she is not in it. I love the Green Hornet back in the 90's they had an awesome comic book about him from NOW comics where he was like the 3rd or 4th generation Green Hornet and the radio version was his great grandfather and the one from the tv show was either his father or uncle or something. I hope they have the story like that where the new Green Hornet and Kato are the desidents of the originals. And there should be a shout out to the Lone Ranger or picture of him in a study or something. And about Rogen I think he is capable of playing a serious role in Observe and Report he got pretty dark half way through the movie

if its action comedy then that is not the green hornet. that green lantern jack black movie they were gonna would have been an action comedy too. and that would have sucked as well

I have a real take it or leave it additude with this movie. I'm no Green Hornet fan, but I like Seth Rogen. As for Diaz....whatever. I am more excited to give Dynamite's new Green Hornet comic a looksie.
