Sony Online Entertainment Reveals The Green Lantern in DC Universe Online

Harold “Hal” Jordan already had the reputation as the most courageous test pilot alive when he was selected by a dying alien to take his place in an international peacekeeping force, Green Lantern Corps, agents of The Guardians of the Universe. When he accepted the alien’s ring and battery of power, Hal Jordan became a Green Lantern. With a ring whose powers are limited only by one’s imagination and willpower, Green Lantern defends both our world and space sector 2814.

The Green Lantern belongs to the Green Lantern Corps and is a founding member of the Justice League of America. One of many Green Lanterns, Hal Jordan frequently teams up with other Corps and JLA members to shine his light and battle the darkness of evil and chaos. His enemies include Sinestro, a former Green Lantern who is armed with a yellow power ring, and the alien parasite Parallax.

	@BmanHall - I hate it when they don't reciprocate! I like the PS3, but I have to admit that other than watching Blu-ray, it just sits there... I have a couple of great games for it (Resistance 2, Killzone 2, etc), but just haven't been able to get into them... All of my friends have Xbox and we're into the multiplayer aspects. 	@ Nathan Best X-box has a more games I agree with you on that. Killzone is the truth, and if you dont have it pick it up for the Vs, Naruto Ultimate ninja storm. Even if you not a fan, the game play and graphics are CARZY! Also Ps3 has a nice line up coming out with FF Versus and White knight, I hear the have a Mega man in the works as well as MAG. To bad X-box keeps getting games like Tekken but if i was a publisher I would do the same, seeing as there are more x-box owners. But i wouldn't count Sony out, I know that have some good game on the list. I cant wait for FF versus. 	Geekautomaton Yeah, they're called trophies! Not all games have them but every game released from the beginning of this year do - many older games have also had patches released so they have trophies (Star Wars, GTA IV, Tomb Raider) You should definitely get a PS3 - its a much better system IMO! joshw24 - 10/15/2009, 3:08 PM
	i don't know guys. i think the only leg up that ps3 has on 360 is the fact that ps3 doesn't get the red ring of death. i could completely understand having a ps3 when everyone i've ever talked to or read about has had the red ring at least once. i've had a 360 since the day it came out and i've gotten the ring 4 times. other than that the 360 is superior in my opinion. xbox live totally kills playstation network in every way, so i don't mind paying the cheap ass price for it. i like the controller better. the interface isn't just thrown at you in a bunch of confusing lists that you have to search through every time you want to change a setting. no ps3 games are 1080p, while most 360 games are. i just love my 360. and this is coming from someone who has both. i used to have wii, but i sold that piece of junk after only having it a year. i hate that thing. 	The way to settle any dispute between PS3 and Xbox 360 is to get both. This way you can get all the kick ass exclusive PS games and all the exclusive 360 games. On PS3 you have HOME, VidZone (with thousands of free music videos), you can download TV shows and movies, an internet browser, you can download updates for games and the PS3 as well as access online features of blu-ray all for FREE! 	On the PS3 vs Xbox debate, I could go either way really... I like the Xbox interface WAY better, but I don't like the fact that Microsoft nickels and dimes you, but you do typically get access to demos and DLC earlier, so it's a trade off... PS3 has done a LOT of things right, including built in wireless, web browser, and blu-ray, but I don't like the controller (it feels TINY in my hands... no "that's what she said" comments!) and I can't get used to the interface... 	i have this same debate with my friends all the time. xbox live is far better then psn. home is just a sims rip off and if i wanted that i'd just buy the game. the updates for a ps3 take forever to download and install even with a 20mb download speed. and the fact that facebook, twitter and sky tv (british cable) is coming top xbox live just blows the ps3 out of the water. the games on xbox are far better in the exclusive range, left 4 dead, halo, gears of war. so the ps3 has kilzone 2 (which sony lied profusly about before the launch) and the uncharted but all of these are no way in comparison to the xbox. ( release date for dcuo is around march 2010) and you don't need to pay to have xbox live just xbox live gold but silver is free.
