Earlier today CBM covered the fact that the new CG Batman series will be called Beware the Batman. Now we've got a piece of concept art for this show which, while a bit blurry, nonetheless provides a look at the design the producers are going for.

im a huge huge fan of batman but this is not a good look,i don't know about the content but this is not a good look,somehow i think there is no real talent in the new generation coz everything the new generation does compared to the older version is poor (thundercats,looney tunes & now it appears that batman as well,so far batman was safe)

I AGREE with @UncannyXMan The should have continued from the 90's series. Just Improving on the Character Designs and Animation to suit the new style(like from Young Justice and the animated movies) which they are using today.

Seriously glad that every Batman show is different from the last one. It's just one picture not even animation yet it's not going to come out until 2013 probably look better fully rendered.

I loved Batman the Animated Series too I grew up with it. But it's been almost two decades and the longer you think that one version of an ongoing character is the only way than it starts to prevent real growth and new interpretations. It's not like they ever fully said goodbye to it with the Arkham Games the Superman/Batman movies and Justice League Doom it still continues in spirit but at some point it is better to accept it ended and try something new.

This is exhibit A on why Batman: Brave and the Bold needs to stay on the air. Take The Batman and roll him around in a turd ball and digitize him and...viola!..you have Beware the Batman!
