It isn't much, but Joe Cornish revealed this weekend at Kapow-Con (Via
BLEEDING COOL) that he and Edgar Wright recently handed in the second draft of their script for
Ant-Man. Here is an excerpt from
BLEEDING COOL's report:
Speaking this afternoon at Kapow, Joe Cornish has revealed that he and Edgar Wright delivered the “second draft” of Ant Man just two days ago. That’s one more hurdle jumped – or if I know Wright and Cornish, leapt.
Ant-Man will be directed by Edgar Wright, but currently has n release date or actors signed on for any roles. We can most likely expect
Ant-Man news some time after Marvel Studio's big superhero team up movie,
The Avengers.
UPDATE:When asked by
BLEEDING COOL'S Brendon Connelly if the story was based of any comic arcs, specifically Robert Kirkman's Ireedemable Ant-Man, Cornish replied with definitely not.
