X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Actress Alexandra Shipp Begins Training For Her Role As STORM

Shooting for X-Men: Apocalypse is set to begin the April in Montreal and according to a recent Instagram post it seems that Storm actress, Alexandra Shipp, has already begun her training for the role.

With shooting for X-Men: Apocalypse to begin this April in Montreal, the cast will no doubt begin or continue to prepare for their roles, and it seems the younger cast additions won't be an excpetion. Recently Alexandra Shipp, who will play Ororo Munroe a.k.a Storm, posted an image to her Instagram which reveals that she has already begun her training. The fact that she is excercising suggests that she may have a bit more substantial role , and that the role requires some physicallity.

Wouldn't exactly say it like that; the only thing we've seen Shipp do was take a video of herself with comics and then this. I'm pretty sure Halle did the same thing; social networking wasn't as strong during the time when the first movies were released.

Berry was ok. Actually she was better Storm in X3 than in two previous movies.
But i must agree that she wasn't a Storm we all know from comics.

but the the biggest disappointment for me was always Cudmore as Colossus. You can clearly see he is American with no Russian accent. Also the whole T2 transformation effect is really bad. This is not Colossus. Not at all.

Singer banned comics due to the fact comic book films were viewed as childish and terrible thanks to Batman & Robin and Singer wanted his film to be serious. Yea he banned comics but really it's for the right reason of wanting your film to be taken serious. I'm not supporting him but I get why. Comic book films weren't all the rage like they are today. Plus all an actor needs to go off is their script. Michael Fassbender is doing Assassin's Creed and he has never played any of the games. Also James Gunn told the GOTG cast they didn't need to read the comics but some of the cast members asked him references of what comics to read for help.

Man, she's beautiful. But I hope they explore Storm's fears of claustrophobia in this flick. Was reading a bit of the original uncanny series under Claremont last night and Storm's background history is pretty intense.

i think i got that issue. Storm backround was never mentioned in movies (at least i think so).

Her case remind me of Ozymandias in "Watchmen" movie. His past in the movie was never properly introduced to the audience as well. Shame.

I said it once i'll say it again, I have NEVER been more excited for a movie in my life than I am for X-Men: Apocalypse.

I'm not into Star Wars at all, but to me X-Men is my Star Wars and i'm so [frick]ing pumped for this movie.
