In a recent interview with IGN Kenneth Branagh explained why so many people love Loki  saying, "People like damaged villains, he was always an enormous part of the comics. A much loved villain. The way that that happens across those big legacy kind of pieces, they happen to find a wonderful actor in Tom Hiddleston, who again brought depth to it." Branagh then discussed the importance of Thor saying it's difference in tone and style from the previous MCU films made it a crucial film to the the still young universe. At the end of the interview the Cinderella director was asked whether he had any interest in working on a Star Wars movie, and simply said, "they all know where I live."

Marvel Studios expands its film universe with a new type of superhero: THOR. This epic adventure spans the Marvel Universe; from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

Both Thor films are too subservient to the Avengers. Ragnarok needs to set itself apart.

The biggest reason I love Loki, is because Hiddleston is an incredible actor. He's shown the most range of any actor in the MCU.

Easily my favourite scene in the entie MCU:

Thor 2 was awful. Almost as bad as ironman 3. Hope this guy stays away from the mcu.

I'd love to see him come back. Let him do his thing, let him explore Ragnarok and Asgardian culture a bit. Thor was an excellent film despite having Natalie Portapotty and that annoying bitch.

thor>thorTDW

thor 2 made me wanna not see Ragnarok.
same thing i had with StarTrek. Part 2 killed the reboot.
Bring back Branagh !

i still thing it's a funny how after the premiere everyone said Thor 2 was good, but now more people are saying it's not that good at all and that part 1 was better.
I don't wanna see Thor 2 again. Almost every scene in London should be riped out like a beating heart by Kano/Jarek from MK series.

Stane is the best villain in the MCU. Stane is everything Stark didn't want to become and was a reminder in a way of Stark's former self focusing on improving weapons for profit then worrying about what these weapons are used for and by who.

also Loki is the best villain in the MCU. Skull was rather wasted, Obadiah who ?, Kingsley's Mandarine was kinda wasted (it would played better without the twist), Rourke was fun to watch, Sam too. Roth was great untill he became Abomination ... i guess. Ronan was good. Redford had 3 good scenes, but other than that ... meh. He was just standing and talking with the counsel.

The first Thor was great, TDW was just abysmal. I never understood why so many users thought it was good.

the hype was too strong with this one. I guess many people do not wanted to admit to themselves that there were many mistakes made during the making of Thor2. Blindfolded they were.
