Kenneth Branagh Explains Why People Love LOKI And The Importance Of The First THOR
In a recent interview former Thor director, Kenneth Branagh, discussed why fans love Loki, and explains why Thor was so important to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Check it out after the jump.
In a recent interview with IGN Kenneth Branagh explained why so many people love Loki saying, "People like damaged villains, he was always an enormous part of the comics. A much loved villain. The way that that happens across those big legacy kind of pieces, they happen to find a wonderful actor in Tom Hiddleston, who again brought depth to it." Branagh then discussed the importance of Thor saying it's difference in tone and style from the previous MCU films made it a crucial film to the the still young universe. At the end of the interview the Cinderella director was asked whether he had any interest in working on a Star Wars movie, and simply said, "they all know where I live."
