Based in the 1980's Batman book Gotham by Gaslight. Day 1 Studios tried to work with THQ to publish the game, but after an unsuccessful pitch Gotham by Gaslight was canned.

Cape effects look great. If this was there pitch video I can see why they failed. Nothing but tech show off. They probably had no idea what the game mechanics would center around.

Man that had some really good cape animation.

Not sure why Gaslight Batman could scale buildings in single bounds, though.

There is much better Batman comic books to adapt to a video game.

It would have been interesting to play a Batman video game that takes place in the late 1800's though.

Wow, that actually looks great! I've never known the details about Gotham by Gaslight, though, but I think it can be somewhat similar to the Spider-Man: Noir gameplay in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimension...just if it wasn't cancelled. Too bad. Would be great to see some gameplay mechanics of it, too.
