Ever since Beenox announced that they couldn't get the stars of the upcoming movie, they have finally revealed a long-speculated voice actor who's playing the titular character in The Amazing Spider-Man. Read on for details...

This HeroHQ Community User has stated that the developers mentioned that the game will not include Peter Parker to avoid likeness and voice issues.

The devs said you wont see Peter. The one interactive sequence you play as him will be in first person mode. They did this so you feel like Spider-Man and not feel like you are playing Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man.


The Amazing Spider-Man launches June 26th but the date for the mobile version is unknown at this point. It is expected to be one of the best Spider-Man games to date but after the mark Spider-Man 2 left on the video game universe, can the newest game fill in those shoes?

Atleast it's not Drake Bell. or that one guy from Web of Shadows. there should be a rule saying Spider-man should never sound whiny even as a teenager. I like Sam Reigal voice although he never played characters that were at all that interesting except Minoru Shiaishi from lucky star.

Oh wow... I'm not really familiar with him. From watching the gameplay videos, he seems like an OK choice.

Personally, I was hoping for Christoper Daniel Barnes or Josh Keaton though.

I'm glad that Bruce Campbell is back in a Spider-Man game. I'm sure they gave him some great lines.

@MidNightWind I didn't like the voice actor in Web of Shadows either. Everything else was great IMO.

Andrew Garfield really disappoints me for not doing this. I mean he could have just done it over the phone if he didn't have time or at least said they could make Peter Parker look like him. He's not Will Smith or Tom Cruise and I don't really see why he wouldn't do it unless it's because he's just that arrogant.

why wouldnt garfield want to do the voice? and its kinda stupid to have a game set in the universe of the movie, yet peter looks and sounds nothing like the peter in the movie

this is the biggest mistake ever.why didnt andrew do it.beenox could have got him if he was done with the movie.i dont think beenox realised this was A MOVIE GAME not a crappy game they can make

Damn I've heard of a few people saying there will be a demo out on 19th June on all demo-playing platforms. I hope it's not just a prank, I seriously want to try this game out (I already pre-ordered it).
