Whilst they don't feature anything THAT spectacular, BBC have decided to tease us until the trailer release this Saturday giving us an inside look at Doctor Who's biggest event; the 50th Anniversary Special titled "Day Of The Doctor".
Theatrical 3D release tickets just recently went on sale across the world, did you get yours yet? The Doctor Who anniversary special has been written by showrunner Steven Moffat and directed by Nick Hurran. It features John Hurt, David Tennant and Matt Smith in the title role, with Jenna Louise-Coleman reprising her role as 11th Doctor's companion Clara.
The 50th Anniversary is said to be a "one-off", so there may not be any major consequences going into the Christmas special; Matt Smith's final episode as The Doctor which features his regeneration into the next Doctor, played by The Thick Of It's Peter Capaldi.
That's enough rambling for me, so check out these pretty cool Day Of The Doctor images below. If you have a feeling that the special will be amazing, you can already pre-order it on Blu-Ray and get it on it's release date of December 10th.
