CAPTAIN AMERICA 2 Set Photo: Frank Grillo On Set As Brock Rumlow

Unfortunately, the last batch of pics of actor Frank Grillo on the set of Captain America: The Winter Soldier as Brock Rumlow had to be pulled from CBM, per photog request. In case you missed those, here's another chance to see him...

A couple of days ago, you may have had a chance to see the Captain America: The Winter Soldier on location photos of actor Frank Grillo in character as Brock Rumlow before they had to be taken down. If you didn't have a chance to see those, local Cleveland photographer Bela Szucs managed to grab a picture of the actor with his hands on his hips for all to see.

And to those fans who are (im)patiently waiting to see Grillo in costume as Crossbones, he tweeted out a potential tease that it might be coming soon.

I'm wondering if Marvel is thinking Thunderbolts since this guy is signed for multiple movies, or if that's just how Marvel does their contracts.

Im sure he'll don some other type of costume later. From the beginning grillo said he was playing Crossbones not just Rumlow

i wouldn't be surprised if he has facepaint instead of a mask. in my opinion, that's even scarier.

Judging by these first pics of him. Which arent much.

My first conclusion is that his role is gonna be similar with Tim Roth´s Emil Blonsky from The Incredible Hulk.

First he hunts Cap, Black Widow and Fury with the mercenary team and then the bad guy who ever the main bad is gives him copy of the same serum which gave Cap his powers. And Crossbones is born.

If he gets a mask I hope it's more of the Army of Two style.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is going to be Spider-Man 2, The Dark Knight and X2 type of sequel. Better than the original and the best of his own trilogy/franchise. I'm predicting it right now.

I see it being an exact translation of the character from the character in terms of look, just like they did for Red Skull in TFA. Or the alternative is they'll find a more grounded version like what Nolan did for Bane...

I pray the first option will and can be pulled off! No bike helmet like I've heard some people mention. I want a full head & face mask!

He said in all his tweets he was gonna "make the superheroes scared" and stuff, so I'm betting on seeing the costume within the week.

It seems to me that they are playing out a Dark Avenger scenario. Whoever Robert Redford is playing (I say is a combination of an "Osborne"like character and in the end we'll find out he's is the red skull reincarnated (lets not forget, Arnim Zola is in this one) Nick Fury is on the run because he uncovers a plot to kill Steve via the Winter Soldier. This leads Fury to put together This strike team of the falcon , crossbones, the widow and whoever else to help steve go after bucky. When Bucky fails to kill steve, that's when he gets shot down by one of his own(we all know Grillo will, in the end, kill Steve) crossbones, who as it turns out, is a double agent for redford. A plan B of sorts. Bucky will realize what hes done and will take over and more than likely be in Avengers 2 where steve, in a side, story will be revived.....what are your thoughts people?

As far as the mask? Face paint would be cool but you would have all the Nolanites screaming bloody copycat murder! That they couldn't have pulled it off without stealing an idea from Ledgers Joker.....

HAHAHA!!!! Crossbones is basically using a wrestlers mask....wouldn't it be funny if he was the grandson of Mr Wrestling #2
