IESB is reporting that Jonah (YES, the brother of Chris) Nolan will be helming the next Superman movie titled Man of Steel. Jonah has some nice writing credits (The Dark Knight, Memento and Prestige) but has not directed a feature film as of yet.



At this point it is all unconfirmed but IESB's sources are also saying Chris Nolan will be shepherding all DC movies towards a Justice League movie which he will direct himself!



Does this seem plausible or is just another day at the rumor mill? If this is true, would Nolan's Batman be in the JLA? It would seem to be a complete 180 from his previous take of no superheroes.

Very interesting. Memento and the Prestige were amazingly written, they're 2 of my favorite films EVER.

Okay... THE guy... that said superheroes didn't belong in his batverse... will helm Justice League... that's all i have. I hope he's thinking of Bale and where HE draws the line. Nolan'll have to recast eventually IF this is all true.

Yeah, I find it very odd that after everything Nolan said about his Batman not being a part of the universe that Superman and Wonder Woman are in.

If he does actually do a JL film, Bale has a good shot at returning, though he'll probably be a tad old, and I wouldn't want him to.

1st time director for Superman??? I know his brother will be involved, but that's still little sketchy. However, he is an extremely talented writer, so.......we'll see.

As for Nolan and Justice League.....kinda pisses me off a bit after all the sh!t he talked...idk, just my .02

Seems like a bit of a stretch to me.

I love the idea, but I just don't see a first time director getting the keys to this franchise no matter who his brother is.

I think chris nolan doing a JLA movie is the most unlikely thing to me. And if so idk if i want him to do it. Hes great for batman but throw in green lantern martin manhunter wonder woman hawkman captain marvel etc. these are all characters he dosnt believe should exists. They are all magic or unrealistic. So idk if i would want nolan doing a Jla movie but idk thats just me. Green arrow movie i think he would be amazing at! lol

doubt this is true as much Jonah is a good writter the guy have not direct a movie. i would have more faith if he had directed a movie before.

but then again WB did let Jimmy Hayward who never directed a live action movie before to do Jonah Hex.

look if he's always said that his Batman is different from the DC universe, who cares, things change and nothing is written in stone....his way of thinking can change, who gives a shit....do you? I don't, shit even better....Only time will tell if this is true and if it is then perfect...I have faith in the guy and I hope for the best.....so only time will tell
