Even More Set Photos For The Waynes' Murder From BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE

In addition to the set photos released online of the murder of Thomas and Martha Wayne from Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, even more have surfaced revealing the murder weapon and a much clearer image of Thomas Wayne.

What do you think about the photographs? Personally, I'm pleased to see that we are finally getting a origin that more closely resembles some sort of source material. But it's not just any source material, it's Frank Miller's famous gamechanger The Dark Knight Returns.

Are you looking forward to this extremely respectful representation of Batman? Leave your thoughts in the comments below and let us know.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Jason Momoa, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Henry Cavill, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Ray Fisher, and Laurence Fishburne. The film, written by Chris Terrio from David S. Goyer's screenplay, and directed by Zack Snyder, arrives in theaters March 25, 2016.

Jesse Eisenberg shaved his head, probably for ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ (photos)

I'm not really a fan of reseeing the death of the Wayne's again, but I'm happy to see that they are finally showing the real comic book scene.

This probably won't be an extended sequence. Knowing Snyder, it'll likely be an adaptation of the moment in The Dark Knight Returns when Bruce relives the death of his parents, and it cuts between his memories and him having a panic attack in the present day. I'm all for that.

I wonder if this is a small scene where Superman is caught up on Batman's past/finds out Batman's secret identity.

Great choice for Thomas. I have no problem with this scene being included. I think it's great that we are getting a faithful and true comic book representation. I don't understand why so many of y'all are freaking out over this being in the movie, it is not that big of a deal. And since it appears to be done properly, it should be great. Either way it's just going to most likely be a quick flashback sequence.

Stop complaining about Batman's origin.
We've only seen the Wayne murders twice on the big screen.
First it was seen in Batman '89, and then again 16 years later in Batman Begins, and it would have been 11 years since then by the time BvS comes out.

So, cut it with the faux fury.
When Snyder and Co. said they weren't doing Batman's origin again, they didn't say they wouldn't revisit the Wayne murders. We're just not gonna see Batman as a newbie again.

This film is going to focus on how upset Batman is with GCPD and their investigation into his parents' murder. When he's not pummelling criminals, he's a blogger who writes articles criticizing the police department. Here's a look at one of Bruce Wayne's articles on the GCPD.

@Battabing

Faux fury indeed. I was saying the same thing. Two big screen depictions years upon years apart, griped about as if its been done several times.

Zack Snyder bringing us a 1970S account of this iconic event? Complaints? lol Riiiight.

Bring it.
