I really hope this is NOT yet another x-film that defaults to Magneto as the villain....I'm in the minority in not loving DOFP, but have legit excitement for this and hope it's fantastic.

From the synopsis it definitely sounds like a MASSIVE-scale of a movie (Of course silly! Its X-Men APOCALYPSE Duh!!).
And even though BvS and Cap: CW have bigger hype around them, I reckon this film won't be too far behind on the box-office front.
Hopefully the movie itself will be just as awesome as well.

To keep the age differences from already screwing up our freshly-rebooted timeline, this should start with Wolverine, Gambit, and Psylocke sitting in a bar in modern-day, talking about that time they fought Apocalypse. Cut to younger versions of each, cast only for this one film. In future films set in modern day, use Channing, Olivia, and whoever they recast for a modern-day Wolverine.

Two cents. Probably won't happen, then we'll have old Gambit and Psylocke if we ever get another modern-day X flick.

These throwback settings have been cool, but Fox needs to be thinking how they're going to move forward with future movies set in modern-day. Don't screw it up when we're off to such a good start with DoFP's reboot.

Well we should have the Angel/Archangel character in there so it can't be confirmed or legit just yet!!

This is such a strange film.

For most of the case (Magneto, Xavier, Mystique), this is their last film, so going forward, the X-Men universe will look very different.

What a weird mish-mash of a movie franchise. Anyway, I still enjoy X-Men, X2, First Class, and Days of Future Past.

It's fake because of this line:

and Golden Globe nominee Oscar Isaac (Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens) as the villain Apocalypse.

Hopefully Apocalypse will be an actual good, developed villain, which is something the Foxmen universe and Comicbook movies in general need an abundance of. I mean, Bolivar Trask and Stryker are the same generic fear mongering villain and Magneto is basically the default villain in every movie. Sebastian Shaw's powers were cool but he was just a re skinned Magneto. The only amazing villains in the Xmen universe are Magneto and Mystique. The other villainous mutants are just background jobbers for the heroes to fight.

Why would MCU fanboys be crying? Most of the MCU movies gross more than the X-Men movies.

...and also Channing Tatum. I'll admit then dude is charismatic, but that is laundry list of A-list talent he does not belong alongside.

Anyhoo, does anyone really think Wolverine isn't a horseman? The only question is Death or War?
