Wesley Snipes On His Talks With Marvel; Teases Another Character "That Will Stand Toe To Toe With Blade Any Day"

With Wesley Snipes returning to television with “The Player" TV series, he provided a brief update about where he and Marvel stands with the Blade character, and he teases another that's not done yet, but would be able to stand toe to toe with Blade. T'Chaka anyone? Check it out!

Wesley Snipes recently spoke at Comic-Con International and promoted his newest TV Series, “The Player." While promoting this, he was then asked about where he stands with the Blade character and Marvel Studios. He responded, and revealed that he Marvel have had favorable agreements about Blade, and notably, other things they have in mind. "Well, we’ve had some discussions. We have had very positive and favorable discussions about the Blade character and other things they have in mind. We’ll see where it goes."

Snipe then sent out a message for the many Blade fans out there, that will start much more speculations over the coming weeks. "For those Blade fans, if we never reprise Blade, I have another character that will stand toe to toe with Blade any day. It’s not done yet." Do you think we'll see Wesley in Captain America: Civil War, or the 2017 Black Panther film as T'Chaka? How about him as Blade in the Netflix series? Wesley Rocks, would love to see him reprise the role as Blade, not sure if he'd be a good fit for T'Chaka but I'm sure he could pull it off

Cinema needs more Wesley Snipes. One of the more enjoyable aspects of EXPENDABLES 3, along with Antonio Banderas.

Rumors have been swirling that Marvel is looking at Boyega for Blade. I love this idea. He's british and would take the character back to his natural british roots. More faithful than the Detroit snipes blade

@Omarvls I think plenty of actors now are attracted to balancing multiple franchises and film an tv; lucrative and intriguing tv. Idris Elba does film and Luther for bbc. Tom Hardy has a show coming to bbc and he's occasionally on peaky blinders on netflix. Plenty of other actors, besides heavyweights like Hardy and elba, do tv and film. Its possible he'd wanna do both. There are examples all around him. (Boyega, elba and hardy are all bits too lol. Boyega can ask for their advice over a pint haha)

But after how he behaved on the set of Blade Trinity (a shit movie, admittedly), I'm not sure I want him in the MCU.

considering the Civil war rumors, i doubt hed play T'Chaka. Id prefer hed play a bigger role in the MCU.

I don't want him as Blade, or any other major character. I wouldn't mind him as a supporting character though.
