Because I was expecting the new Falcon to be a familiar character. Also, I've had a theory for a while that a new Falcon could be one of the older Vultures or someone who is morally ambiguous. The reason is because of Marvel's trend of anti-hero successors (Superior Spider-Man, Irredeemable Ant-Man, ETC). The Vultures have similar abilities/technology to the Falcon.

Do note the "something like that" part of my comment, as well. I didn't think it would necessarily be Blackie Drago, but I thought that they would take the anti-hero direction for this new Falcon.
