Zachary Quinto Says STAR TREK 3 Will Shoot Next Year - With J.J. Abrams Directing?
Ever since J.J Abrams was set to direct Star Wars: Episode VII, plans for Star Trek 3 were uncertain. Now, Zachary "Spock" Quinto says that the threequel will begin filming next year, and that Abrams is planning to return.
Zachary Quinto, who stars as Spock in the recent Star Trek film series, seems to be very confident with the idea of J.J Abrams coming back. Speaking with Buzzhub, the actor says, "Star Trek 3 should be filming, I suppose, next year. It’s going to be made a lot quicker than the last one. That’s the plan, although nothing is confirmed yet." Later on in the interview, Quinto said he would not like to reunite with J.J Abrams for Star Wars: Episode VII without reason. Surprisingly, he also adds that Abrams is planning to direct Star Trek 3, despite the fact that it would directly conflict with his Star Wars schedule. What do you think?
