Until December 2012, Superman will be a cash cow douche.

Maybe to someone not in theater. A superman outfit is pretty "luke warm" considering some outfits from the past. The first one to come to mind is Peter Pan. Heck, how do you think George Reeves, Christopher Reeves, Brandon Routh and Dean Cain felt? Or how about Tobey Maguire. Not everyone can pull off a skintight leotard!!

Obviously pulling off Superman in a play setting like this is going to be extremely different from pulling it off on film. I have not seen this version, but I applaud them for completely rewriting the original play and make it more relevant. I hope it pays off and allows them to take it to Broadway.
