BATMAN VS. TERMINATOR Fan-Made Animated Short

Fan films are everywhere, but one of the most impressive is this animated short from filmmaker Mitchell Hammond which postulates Batman emerging 30 years after Skynet's ascent to power and taking on the resulting world of the Terminators.

From Mitchell Hammond: "Thirty years have passed since Bruce Wayne survived Skynet's nuclear blasts in August of '97. Iron demons now roam the planet, and without the requirement to defend the innocent against crime and injustice, Wayne has seeked refuge in the bomb shelter that saved his life; the Batcave. Having scavenged the wasteland for resources, he discovers the radio of a dead soldier. There is static over a frequency. Flesh and blood is rising up to the west. With The Stinger; a riot control vehicular unit built before the apocalypse along with a refitted bomb blast vest, Batman makes his way across what remains of the United States to join forces with the man determined to neutralize the electronic menace - John Conner. Original Concept - Tony Guerrero. Original Music - Noir Deco (http://bit.ly/1eeAlvS). Animation/Sound Editing - Mitchell Hammond.

Not bad, other than I didn't care much for how Batman looked.

Very nice; well done. Only critique would be you could use more dialogue and a faster pace to cover more ground. If this were 30 minutes, what you have here would be fine.

But I did dig, and appreciate the shot of the guy getting blown away, then a terminator stepping on his arm! Nice.

That was astounding. I loved the art design, I loved the animation and story. I wasn't thrilled with the sound editing, but this is great!

SuperCat, but if they put it on Cartoon Network, they'd pull it off the schedule before anyone could watch it.

That was very cool. Only thing I would say is that Batman's motions were off. He was walking like Frankenstein. His arms and legs were moving in the same direction.

Fun. Had a little bit of trouble following the story, but I liked the tone a lot. The music and unique angles chosen for the visuals really brought it together nicely.

It reminds me of basic training when the drills were teaching us how to march and people forgot how to walk naturally. It was hilarious...

Tankman? Does that sound right?

Better keep that mask on, you don't want any of those robots to find out you're secretly playboy billionaire Bruce Wayne.
