Quick history
Born in Krypton, he was sent to Earth as an infant and raised by the Kents as Clark Kent. After his foster father's death, Clark was summoned by the memory crystal from the ship that carried him to Earth to construct a Fortress of Solitude in the Arctic Circle, where he discovered his true origin as a Kryptonian, his true name, and the nature of his abilities. In his early thirties,Clark became a reporter for the Daily Planet and became Superman, meeting fellow reporter Lois Lane whom he fell in love with at one time. He also encountered Lex Luthor, the greatest criminal mind on Earth, who became his main adversary.

Powers and Abilities
Energy Absorption
ability of an individual to absorb varying waves of energy into their body for a variety of purposes. In many cases, this energy can also be expelled for offensive attack or visual effect. Superman absorbs yellow ultraviolet radiation in order to replenish his Kryptonian cells.
Enhanced Vision
reflects an individual's ability to perceive things with greater acuity than a normal human being. Often, such an ability lends itself to a wider range of vision-based powers such as telescopic vision, infra red vision and x-ray vision, many of which can be used in conjunction with one another.
Heat Vision
ability to generate and fire a concentrated beam of super-heated thermal energy at an opponent.
Flight
ability to resist the pull of a planet's gravity and navigate through either outer space or a planetary atmosphere.
Hyper-Reflexes
application of super-speed, and denotes an individual's physical reaction time in correlation to their body movement. This power is almost always involuntary, though some individuals may have trained their body to such a degree, allowing them greater control over their reflexes.
Invulnerability
ability to withstand any amount of physical damage, pressure, or harmful force of any kind, causing little if any harm or pain to the individual gifted with this power.

represents an individual's ability to withstand physical harm.

represents an individual's physical heartiness and their ability to function without tiring or undue strain.
Superhuman Strength
ability to lift and/or press volumes of mass far in excess to that normally possible for a human being functioning in Earth gravity.
Super-Speed
ability to move at a rate of acceleration and maximum speed in excess to that of normal optimal human capacity.
